The entrance fee is not chargeable for: (a) a candidate proposed by a grandparent, parent, uncle or aunt; or (b) a candidate who will be a Resident University Member when elected. Subscriptions are payable by Direct Debit. An instalment charge of 10% applies for members paying monthly, 7% applies for members paying quarterly and 5% applies for members paying half yearly. The charge is payable with the first instalment. RETIRED Not less than 60 years of age and not engaged in any remunerated profession, business or employment or the like which occupies him/her for more than two days a week or the equivalent thereof. LONDON Within a 100 mile radius of the Club house. COUNTRY No residence or business address within 100 miles of London. OVERSEAS Ordinarily resident outside the British Isles. UNIVERSITY University Members, namely Ordinary Members who hold an appointment at any institution of higher education or academic research, or who are engaged in a full time course of study intended to lead to the award of a degree by any such institution; or are in statu pupillari at the Universities of Oxford or Cambridge, either as undergraduates or as graduates. ACCOMMODATION RATES 2019 The Oxford and Cambridge Club offers over 40 well-equipped bedrooms that are available at attractive rates throughout the year. Each bedroom has a comfortable Vispring bed with super king-sized pillows, plush goose down duvet and high-thread county Egyptian cotton sheets. All bedrooms are equipped with flat screen televisions, complimentary water, tea and coffee making facilities, and en suite bathrooms with Molton Brown toiletries. In addition, a Complimentary newspaper and a free digital newspaper and magazine service is available, as well as free Wi-Fi access throughout the Club house.
