Special Interest Pelvic & Acetabular Fractures, Hip and Knee replacements, Revision arthroplasty, Periprosthetic fractures.

NHS Practice I provide the regional tertiary pelvic- acetabular trauma service in more than one major trauma centres and children’s hospitals. My elective special interest is in primary and revision hip and knee joint replacements, long bone and joint articular fractures, and knee arthroscopy. My workload consists of specialised and general trauma of lower and upper limb, periprosthetic fractures around joint replacements, and soft tissue injuries arising from accidents, falls and other mechanisms.

Medicolegal Practice I provide personal injury reports on injuries arising from RTA, trips, slips, falls, major trauma, lower limb and pelvic fractures and common upper limb fractures (wrist, hip, tibia, ankle, scaphoid, shoulder, etc), general orthopaedic trauma, soft tissue neck and back injuries (whiplash), soft tissue & ligament injuries of knee, ankle & periprosthetic fractures.

The clinical negligence reports are concentrated on problems surrounding the diagnosis and management of hip and knee joint replacement surgery and trauma (including pelvic trauma) within my area of expertise.
