The Society for the Propagation of the Faith

Greetings from the Diocesan Society for the Propagation of the Faith Missionary Cooperation Plan for 2019 The Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau’s Society of the Propagation of the Faith encourages an invitation to priests to come share news of the missionary work his community provides with our parishes, schools, and missions in southern Missouri, as this work represents the global effort for the building up of over 1,000 local churches in Asia, Africa, the Pacific Islands, parts of Latin America, and Europe. Through the witness of these priests to Christ in southern Missouri, the poor in their own midst may then receive the practical help they need to experience God’s love and mercy, His hope and peace. Missionary groups will be contacting pastors before the end of January 2018 to make plans for their visits during 2018. Thank you for your welcoming spirit! Missionary Cooperation Report for 2018 Below is the annual report of the Missionary Cooperation Plan throughout the Diocese of Springfield-Cape Girardeau by region. The amount raised by each parish within the region of the diocese is listed along with the total sent to each missionary group that came to the diocese. If you notice any errors, please notify me so that I may correct the report.
