Lake Tana is found in the Amhara Region. Wow! Are those people proud? They better be, cause it is 50% our drinking water. But don’t stick your head into the water and drink from the lake! It first needs to be purified. It is also 60% of Abay. How amazing is that!! Now you know how important it is that Lake Tana does NOT dry out! You are probably asking: Why is Lake Tana drying out? It is because it has been attacked by Water hycantith? haycath? hyacinth? Yes, water hyacinth. It is a small plant that sucks up water and can completeley dry out a whole water source. If
