Therefore, there is insufficient data on the effect of the slope of hydroponic growing trays used in the nutrient film technique on wheat fodder yield and its qualitative parameters. The slope of the trays has only been studied for food crops. This study conducted experimental research using a nutrient film technique hydroponic fodder growing device to evaluate the impact of growing tray slope angle on hydroponic wheat fodder production. The slope angle of the growing trays was changed from 2.0% (1.15◦) to 8.0% (4.57◦) with increments of 1.5% (0.86◦). This research used two different light sources for wheat sprout illumination: indoor lighting (fluorescent lamps) and light-emitting diode illumination. In addition, two nutrient solutions were used for sprout irrigation: tap water and a solution enriched with macro- and microelements. Experimental studies confirmed the hypothesis that the slope angle of growing trays significantly affects the yield of wheat fodder grown for seven days. -

[email protected] RESUMEN Se dan a conocer dos novedades para la flora de Colombia: Polypogon monspeliensis y Polypogon viridis. Se presenta una sinopsis del género para Colombia, la que incluye la distribución geográfica, las preferencias ecológicas, los nombres vulgares, los números cromosómicos y las afinidades morfológicas para las cuatro especies presentes en el territorio colombiano, así como una clave para reconocerlas. Palabras clave. Poaceae, Pooideae, Polypogon, Agrostis, gramíneas tropicales, flo- ra de Sudamérica. ABSTRACT As result of recent studies of Colombian grasses, two new records of Polypogon are given: Polypogon monspeliensis and Polypogon viridis. A synopsis of the genus Polypogon for Colombia is provided. The geographical distribution, ecological preferences, vernacular names, chromosomic numbers, and the morphological relationships are presented under each species. A key for the four species of Polypogon in Colombia is given. Key words. Poaceae, Pooideae, Polypogon, Agrostis, Tropical grasses, Flora of South America. INTRODUCCIÓN Polypogon es muy afín y frecuentemente confundido con Agrostis L., del que se diferencia El género Polypogon Desf. es cosmopolita, por sus espiguillas caedizas junto con el principalmente de regiones templadas o pedicelo o fragmento del mismo a la madurez, templado-cálidas, higrófilas, mesófilas, por la lema más ancha, truncada y fuertemente halófilas y aun psamófilas y que en las fotosintética, por la estructura apical de la pálea, regiones tropicales habita generalmente en por el antecio con el callo soldado al artejo áreas montañosas por encima de los 1200 m inferior de la raquilla, no existiendo articulación de altitud. -

One species, Eurythoe laevisetis, occurs in the eastern and cen- tral Mediterranean, likely constituting the first historical introduction to the Mediterranean Sea and the other, Eurythoe complanata, in both eastern and Levantine basins. Brief notes on their taxonomy are also provided and their potential pathways for introduction to the Mediterranean are discussed. -

Ivanko Oles Honchar Dnipro National University Introduction 1 Poaceae is one of the largest families of vascular plants. It has about 10 thousand species and 700 genera. Members of the fam- ily are spread worldwide. They often participate as dominants and edificators in composition of vegetation cover in grassy types of the Earth vegetation. Members of Poaceae family hold an important position within other plants (food, feeding, medicinal, industrial), useful for mankind. Poaceae are among the ten most widely represented families in all areas of the world. Participation of Poaceae, as well as other monocotyledonous plants decreases with the distance from the most East to moderate, and to equatorial latitudes (Tolmachev, 1974). Within the territory of Ukraine Poaceae family includes 71 gen- era (of which only 4 genera in the cultural state) and 208 species; of which only 15 genera are in the cultural state (Determinant of Higher Plants of Ukraine, 1987). Long-term anthropogenic influence on the territory of the steppe of Ukraine has led to a significant transformation of native vegeta- tion. Abstract: The natural flora of Ceylanpınar State Farm was studied in the years 2014 and 2015 before cultivation. During the floristic surveys, 146 species of 99 genera belonging to 18 families were recorded. 28 plant species among them are in threatened categories. Of these plants 13 are endemic and 15 are rare plants. However, the region of interest in this study has not been studied extensively and the habitats of this region have been constantly changing. In the natural flora of the region, rare and endemic plant species have been defined and their threat categories and the factors threatening these species have been determined.
