Purbrook and Widley Area Residents' Association Newsletter Current Havant Borough Council Initiatives: There is also a full explanation of what the Waterloo artwork on the columns at the northern end of the Draft Havant Borough Design Guide. precinct represents. When this is adopted in the autumn it will influence planning decisions and through those the way the Borough looks. Public consultation is taking place at the moment and will end on Friday July 8th. We can all make our views known and by doing so make this document a more accurate and useful one. The whole process is well signposted from the Havant Borough website. We know that not everyone has access to the internet. We also know that for many residents it is difficult to get to Havant. You can find a copy of the Draft Design Guide at Waterloville Library, along with feedback forms.

Of particular interest to readers of this newsletter will be the sections on Purbrook, Widley, Crookhorn and Waterlooville centre.

Sadly our area comes in as having many challenges on the design front, but many of the undesirable aspects mentioned by Havant Council, such as the urban clutter and ugly bus shelters are the result of County's A3 Zip bus corridor.
