ou come from Agra, a city fa- mous for many things but most of all for the Taj Mahal, when did you first see the Taj and Y what did you think? I visited the Taj Mahal when I was a kid and to date, it is equal- ly fascinating. It is so because the monu- ment Taj Mahal in itself is a symbol of love and the history it holds is quite in- spiring. As a kid, little did I know what impact this wonder would leave on my mind and I couldn’t be more grateful to my father for making me not only visit the monument but shar- ing its rich history.

You have completed your M.Phil in Sociology, what do you plan to do next? I did my M.Phil in Sociology and I have decided to explore more in this subject by doing a PhD. I want to learn more on the topic of women leadership in India. This subject is so close to me and I strongly sup- port women empowerment.

You are a member of ABVP, hav- ing fought elections and won the post of Vice President at Agra University, how was the experi- ence of campaigning and be- ing an office-bearer? I fought the election with the love and support of the students and it feels great to serve and help the students and society. My cam- paigning experience was quite good yet challenging. I couldn’t keep eve- ryone happy considering the tough decisions I had to make.

Do you plan on joining full-time politics? No, I don’t plan on joining full-time politics, I hold strong leadership skills and will utilise my talent in the field of modelling and acting. My pri- mary focus is modelling. Later in life, I can’t say. I might as per the situations.

Where does modelling fall in between a PhD and politics and also Kabaddi, where you have represented the state? Like I said, modelling is my pri- mary focus. After I feel I am successful enough in this field, I would join politics full time.
