STEALERS AND HELPERS The River Hawks recorded 10+ steals and assists in three con- tests in 2018-19, a feat the team achieved four times in 2017-18.

FULL TEAM EFFORT For the fourth time in Division I, every River Hawk player that entered the UMBC (2.16.19) contest scored. The previous two times were vs. Cornell (12.31.17), against Longwood in 2016- 17 and Holy Cross in 2015-16. The River Hawks are 2-2 in these meetings.

SPILLING INTO THE PAINT In last season’s win against Fisher College, the River Hawks set a DI program record with 62 points in the paint.

BOARDS GALORE UMass Lowell also grabbed 61 rebounds against the Falcons to set a DI program as well. The all-time record is 70 boards against Bryant in 1991.

PARTY OF FIVE The win against Fisher College marked the third time since join- ing Division I that the River Hawks had five or more players in double figures. The other two times were January 22, 2017 at UMBC, and in 2014 against Mt. Ida.

SHOOTING 45s In 2016-17, UMass Lowell’s offense finished three games shoot- ing above 45 percent from the field and from beyond the arc. The River Hawks are 3-5 in the DI era while putting up those numbers in a single game, with two wins coming against Amer- ica East foe Vermont.

AIN’T NO PARTY LIKE A TSONGAS CENTER PARTY The River Hawks are 9-19 all-time in games played at the Tson- gas Center, with a 7-18 record in the Division I era. The victory against Vermont on February 11, 2018 was UMass Lowell’s first win in the building since the 2016-17 season.

FREE POINTS The River Hawks connected on 20 free throws twice in 2016-17. In the win against Colgate, UMass Lowell went 20-of-34, and at Columbia the team went 20-of-22 (90.9%) from the charity stripe. 20 free throws is the most free throws UMass Lowell has hit in a single game since going 21-of-26 against UMBC in 2014.

AE ON ESPN On November 10, 2016 the America East and ESPN agreed to an 11-year extension to their current media rights agreement that will result in an unprecedented number of events being carried on ESPN platforms.
