2017-18 Viking Basketball • 7 PORTLAND STATE IN THE BIG SKY CONFERENCE HONORS 1996-97 Portland State is in its 22nd season as a member of the Big Sky Conference. PSU won the 2004-05 and 2007-08 Big Brian Towne Honorable Mention All-Conference Sky Conference regular season titles. The Vikings have had eight winning records in conference play in 21 previous Academic All-Conference seasons, winning the 2008 and 2009 Big Sky Conference Tournament titles. The Vikings are 11-12 all-time in the Derek Nesland Academic All-Conference Big Sky Tournament.
