Kalraj Mishra by : INVC Team Published on : 30 May, 2017 05:00 PM IST Country’s image has been growing leaps in PM's leadership : Kalraj Mishra By : INVC Team Published On : 30 May, 2017 05:00 PM IST INVC NEWS New Delhi, Union Minister of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises, Mr Kalraj Mishra today appreciated the State Government led by Chief Minister, Mr Manohar Lal for taking a number of initiatives for the promotion of MSMEs in the State. Organizing such a huge MSME sammelan is a testimony to this fact, he added. Mr Mishra was speaking as a Chief Guest during the Valedictory Session of MSME Sammelan organized at Indradhanush Auditorium, Panchkula today. He said that Haryana has not only recognized the importance of MSMEs sector but also made efforts for its expansion and promotion by resolving the issues being faced by the industries. Throwing light on the importance of MSMEs, he said that MSME is the base of all developed countries in the world. He said that it was former Prime Minister, Mr Atal Bihari Vajpayee with whose efforts and dedication the foundation of MSMEs had been laid in the year 2000 and an Act passed in the year 2006 for the benefit of small and medium enterprises. The Union Minister said that the Central Government has implemented a number of schemes for the promotion of MSMEs and to ensure ease of doing business. He said Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi is the first Prime Minister who has made three MSME Ministers, which reflected his seriousness to the development of this sector. Mr Modi has also announced to make India as a manufacturing hub, he added. He urged the entrepreneurs to ensure quality management for becoming successful in the global market. While referring to the pollution free manufacturing which in conducive to environment, he said that Prime Minister has given the slogan of zero defect- zero effect. He also laid stress on the training of educated youth for meeting the requirement of skilled manpower for MSMEs. Mr Mishra said that various steps have been taken by the Central Government to ensure ease of doing business. Registration process has been made hassle free and now the new industries could get their registration done online in just five minutes and this too without any cost. He said that the Central Government has prepared the industry profile of all districts of the country besides conducting the skill mapping. He said that special emphasis is being given on the innovation and for this; a provision of Rs 10,000 crore has been made under Atal Innovation Mission. Member of Parliament Mr Ratan Lal Katria that the MSME Sammelan organized today would benefit the small scale industries in a big way. He said that under the leadership of Prime Minister, Mr Narendra Modi, the country’s image in the world has been growing leaps and bound. On this occasion, 35 Small Scale Industrialists were honoured for their outstanding contribution. Among those present on this occasion included Principal Secretary, Industries Mr Sudhir Rajpal, MD, HSIIDC Mr Rajshekhar Vundru, Director Industries Mr Ashok Sangwan, representatives of MSMEs from different parts of the State and other senior officers. On the 26th July, 2005, Shri Ravula Chandra Sekar Reddy raised a matter regarding epidemic break out of Malaria, Anthrax and Dengue, etc. in the agency areas of the State of Andhra Pradesh, particularly in the Vishakhapatnam district. Dr. Anbumani Ramadoss, Minister of Health and Family Welfare responded. 2. On the 27th July, 2005, Shri Nilotpal Basu raised a matter regarding grave situation prevailing in the Gurgaon district of Haryana due to the agitation by workers of a multinational company. Shri S.S. Ahluwalia also spoke. Shri Shivraj Vishwanath Patil, Minister of Home Affairs, responded. 3. On the 28th July, 2005:— (i) Shri N.K. Premachandran raised a matter regarding brutal attack on him by the Kerala police on the 8th July, 2005 at Thiruvananthapuram. Shri Jaswant Singh, Leader of the Opposition and Shri Nilotpal Basu also spoke. On the 29th July, 2005:— (i) Shri Jairam Ramesh raised a matter regarding political and economic importance of signing of a statement called “Asia Pacific Partnership for Clean Development and Climate” by United States of America, Japan, Australia, South Korea, China and India at Laos on the 28th July, 2005. Shri Yashwant Sinha and Shri Saif-ud-Din Soz also spoke. Shri A. Raja, Minister of Environment and Forests, responded.
