MAIDEN EDITION

EDITORIAL

I consider it a great achievement producing the maiden edition of this journal titled “International Journal of Adult Learning and continuing Education of the Department of Adult Education and Community Development. I congratulate the contributors that were drawn from various fields of Adult learning and also within educational fora.

The Journal is coming out at the right time, when most academician are confused about the theme and direction of Adult Education.

This maiden edition will serve as an eyes opener to another green area of scholastic contributions, philosophical thinking for education.

It is hoped that the opinion expresses and conclusions drawn in this journal will be of great importance to the policy makers, the students, the casual readers, the academia and the general public.

Through these articles we pledge to keep the flames of progress and advancement of lifelong education in all fields of Adult Education burning and flowing throughout Nigeria and the world.

We appreciate your contributions and hope that you will make this Journal a knowledge generation and dissemination outlet for all and sundry.
