Position Vacant: U19 Coach The Fitzroy Football Club (incorporating the Fitzroy Reds) has five men’s teams and two women’s competing in the Victorian Amateur Football Association, with the senior teams playing in Premier C in 2018. We are currently seeking a coach for our second U19 team. We are based at the iconic Brunswick Street Oval, North Fitzroy and have a strong relationship with the Fitzroy Junior Football Club (FJFC) providing a great pathway for the continued building and future of the club. This is particularly the case in relation to the U19 pathway from the FJFC Colts. We are looking for someone who has demonstrated experience in being able to build on and develop a young list, to work with coaching teams and have the ability to build and develop relationships. Requirements for applicants are: Previous coaching experience (will require to hold AFL Level 1 Coaching Accreditation before 2018 season starts). Ability to provide leadership and innovation as well as game day coaching expertise and leadership. Demonstrated experience working within a coaching group. Strong communication skills both on and off field. Demonstrated experience at building and maintaining relationships with key club stakeholders. Demonstrated understanding of the ethos of amateur football. Our U19 teams competed in U19 Section 2 and U19 Section 5 in 2017 and we expect to be the same in 2018.
