Wyoming exempts all areas of the state from mountain 21 . 22 23 (b) As used in this section: 24 25 (i) "Mountain daylight time" means the period during a 26 year when mountain standard time is advanced one (1) hour in 27 accordance with 15 U.S.C. § 260a;" 28 29 (ii) "Mountain standard time" means the observed time 30 assigned to the mountain time zone in 15 U.S.C. § 261. 31 32 Section 2. 33 34 (a) This act is effective on the first Sunday of November 35 following the day on which both of the following have occurred: 36 37 (i) Legislation enacted by the United States congress 38 goes into effect to amend 15 U.S.C. § 260a to authorize states to 39 observe year-round; and 40 41 (ii) Not fewer than four (4) western states, including 42 Wyoming, pass legislation to place all or a portion of those states 43 on year-round daylight time, regardless of the time zone. 44
