Profile

I am working with sharks biology and population dynamics, which are target of Spanish longliners. My research interests are based on the biology and ecology of pelagic sharks under fishing pressure, especially the shortfin mako (Isurus oxyrinchus), blue shark (Prionace glauca). Also involved in several research projects on fisheries management, sustainability, conservation, evaluation and selectivity.
