In 1988 he received the title of Honorary President from the EUROPEAN SPORT VISION ACADEMY. PUTT DOCTOR Dr. Craig Farnworth Professional hystory A lifetime teaching See & Score = Athletic Success Founded to Enhance the Skills of Athletes...and Others! See & Score Golf Schools was founded by Dr Craig Farnsworth. The basic premise is that sports are visual in nature and golf is no exception. The golf concept was launched in the 1980's and culminated with Dr Farnsworth's book,See It & Sink It, the first book written in golf that focused on the visual aspects of the game. Alignment and distance perception were highlighted as distinct visual challenges in the game of golf. The book was published shortly after Sir Nick Faldo's 1996 Masters win, in which he credited in a large part to his putting work with Dr. Farnsworth. Columbia University research states that 84 percent of the information the brain receives daily is from the visual sensory system. The key part is how accurate are the individual's interpretation of this information. Testing has revealed that most individuals have a number of misperceptions related to target localization, depth perception, aiming and a host more. Training of the visual deficiencies has shown to be easily accomplished and long lasting in its effects. The visual system is also the easiest to test and quantify. Testing of thousands of Olympic hopeful athletes revealed a number of visual deficiencies directly related to their sport, such as peripheral perception, distance misjudgment, target misperception and a number of other visual skills. Since the 1980's, Dr. Farnsworth's eye-mind-body concepts have been proven to elevate performance skills for athletes, the military, law enforcement and personal development. Today, See & Score Golf School represents a new wave of enhancement in golf that has also seen improved concepts in strength, conditioning, nutrition and flexibility. Vision is often the common denominator for the elite athlete. It can become the great equalizer that transcends size, strength and experience. Testing of many elite athletes has shown they possess not only impressive physical skills but also elite visual skills. See & Score emphasizes the relationship between the visual, mental and physical processes that comprise all successful performance. PUTT DOCTOR Dr. Craig Farnworth Professional hystory A lifetime teaching Selected testinomials ”I attended Craig's Advanced Putting Workshop and was thrilled with the detailed analysis of my putting and exercises to fix the plethora of bad habits I have perfected.
