Hermitage Point Trailhead Jackson Lake Lodge Area Hiking Guidelines

N To Emma Matilda & N Two Ocean Lakes • BE BEAR AWARE! Avoid surprising bears by making noise—call out and clap your hands Colter Bay at regular intervals. Do not leave food or backpacks unattended at any time. • Respect wildlife. Do not approach or feed animals. Observe and photograph from a safe Visitor Center Parking distance. Stay at least 300 feet from large animals.

Lodge • Pets, bicycles and vehicles are NOT allowed on trails or in the backcountry. Hermitage Pt. mi • Hike on established trails to prevent erosion. Parking To Christian Trailhead 0.1 • Horses have the right-of-way. Step off the trail and remain quiet while horses pass. Lakeshore Trail Pond Boat • During July and August, trailhead parking areas may fill early in the day. Begin early and Launch Corral Horse Trail carpool if possible to avoid problems.
