Het Van Mossel Kia Dutch Open tennistoernooi op de banen van ALTA is begonnen. Aan deze ATP Challenger 80 doen 48 tennissers mee onder wie Thiemo de Bakker die vorig jaar de titel won toen dit toernooi nog in Schevingen werd uitgerold. Voor het toptennis in Nederland is het mooi dat nationale en internationale spelers zich tijdens dit toernooi met elkaar kunnen meten. Maar ook voor het creëren van meer aandacht voor tennis is dit toernooi belangrijk.
