IOWA WILD REPORT PROSPECT REPORT FEBRUARY 1, 2017 The Iowa Wild begins play following the All-Star Break on a four-game win streak IOWA WILD WEEK AHEAD and on a franchise-best seven-game road win streak after winning all three road DATE OPPONENT LOCATION TIME games last week. F Mario Lucia led the team with two points (1-1=2) while F Jeff Hoggan also netted a goal. G Alex Stalock stopped 38-of-39 shots. The Wild claimed a 3-2 overtime victory on Friday in Rockford (1/27). Lucia and F Pat Cannone scored for Iowa in regulation while F Alex Tuch netted the overtime winner. G Steve Michalek made 37 saves. Iowa won its final contest of the week with a 5-1 win against the IceHogs on Saturday at BMO Harris Bank Center (1/28). Tuch (2-0=2) and F Zack Mitchell (1-1=2) each led the team with two points as D Maxime Fortunus and F Teemu Pulkkinen also scored a goal apiece. Stalock stopped 34-of-35 shots. Pulkkinen leads Iowa with 28 points (13-15=28) in 36 games this season while also leading the team in goals. Cannone (6-16=22) and Tuch (11-11=22) rank T-2nd with 22 points each. Lucia (8-13=21) ranks fourth on the team with 21 points. Stalock is 14-10-4 with a 2.56 GAA, a .916 SV% and two shutouts in 29 games and ranks fifth amongst league goalies in minutes played (1,638) and T-7th in shutouts and in wins. Michalek is 8-9-1 with a 2.67 GAA and a .920 SV% in 20 games. Iowa returns from the break with an 8-1-2-0 record in its last 11 games and currently sits in fourth place in the Central Division.
