Cardtronics Sets Sail in ATM Agreement With Carnival Cruise Lines
HOUSTON, Jan 26, 2010 (GlobeNewswire via COMTEX News Network) -- Carnival Cruise Lines, which is the world's largest cruise line based on passengers carried and is a unit of Carnival Corporation and plc (NYSE:CCL) (LSE:CCL) (NYSE:CUK), and Cardtronics USA, Inc. (Nasdaq:CATM) have reached an agreement for Cardtronics to provide ATM Managed Services on Carnival ships. Under the terms of this multi-year agreement, Cardtronics will provide numerous services including ATM deployment, monitoring, maintenance, customer service and transaction processing.
Cardtronics ATMs are servicing guests on five Carnival ships including the Carnival Conquest, Carnival Inspiration, Carnival Paradise, Carnival Pride and Carnival Valor. Each ship features two ATMs that are located in high traffic areas of the vessel and provide convenient access to cash for Carnival's guests.
