Press release 21 March 2020 COVID-19 Update AIR AUSTRAL MAKES FURTHER UPDATES TO ITS FLIGHT SCHEDULE  Reunion Island - flights suspended from 23 March to 31 May 2020  Reunion Island - and Reunion Island - flight schedules adjusted from 23 to 29 March 2020

As soon as the coronavirus Covid-19 outbreak was announced, Air Austral set up a crisis unit in close cooperation with health organisations and competent authorities. Air Austral receives real-time international health situation updates and is taking required, and appropriate, measures.

In light of this unforeseen situation, combined with a significant drop in travel demand, and in compliance with government travel bans, Air Austral has been forced to review its flight schedule in order to deal with this highly unexpected situation. The ’s flight schedule will be altered as the situation evolves. Please note that at this current time:

 Reunion Island<>Marseille flights have been suspended until 31 May 2020. Passengers wishing to do so may be rebooked, without fare adjustment, on maintained Reunion Island<>Paris flights. Air Austral will not cover the cost of passenger transfer between Paris and Marseille.  Adjusted Reunion Island - Paris flight schedule from 23 to 29 March: REUNION ISLAND > PARIS:  Flight UU975 on Monday 23 March is maintained as scheduled.  Flight UU975 on Tuesday 24 March is cancelled - Passengers have been rebooked on UU975 on 26 March, departure 21:00.  Flight UU975 on Wednesday 25 March is cancelled - Passengers have been rebooked on UU975 on 26 March, departure 21:h00.  Flight UU975 on Thursday 26 March is maintained as scheduled.  Flight UU975 on Friday 27 March is cancelled - Passengers have been rebooked on UU975 on 29 March, departure 20:15.  Flight UU975 on Saturday 28 March is cancelled - Passengers have been rebooked on UU975 on 29 March, departure 20:15.  Flight UU975 on Sunday 29 March is maintained as scheduled. Departure scheduled from Reunion Island at 08:30. MAYOTTE > REUNION ISLAND:  Flight UU275 on Sunday 22 March is cancelled - Passengers have been transferred to flight UU277 on the same day. Departure scheduled from Mayotte at 11:00, local time.  Flight UU277 on Tuesday 24 March, initially scheduled at 10:10, is delayed. Departure scheduled from Mayotte at 15:20.  Flight UU275 on Wednesday 25 March, initially scheduled at 10:10, is delayed. Departure scheduled from Mayotte at 11:00.  Flight UU277 on Thursday 26 March is cancelled - Passengers have been rebooked on UU275 on 25 March, departure 11:00.  Flight UU275 on Friday 27 March is cancelled - Passengers have been rebooked on UU275 on 28 March, departure 11:00.  Flight UU275 on Saturday 28 March is maintained - departure from Mayotte at 11:00.  Flight UU277 on Sunday 29 March, initially scheduled at 15:20, has been brought forward. Departure scheduled from Mayotte at 11:00. Please note that:  All regional flights - Reunion Island<>Madagascar - Reunion Island<>Mauritius - Reunion Island<>Bangkok - Reunion Island<>South Africa - Reunion Island<> The - Reunion Island<>Comoros - are suspended, in compliance with government guidelines.

Air Austral fully understands the disruptions the situation is causing passengers and has, therefore, introduced highly flexible sales conditions so that passengers can reschedule, change or cancel their bookings for issued tickets until 31 May. Please refer to detailed sales adjustments below.

*** Current sales adjustments Since 19 March 2020 Passengers with an Air Austral ticket emitted before the 31 May 2020 included, for a travel date before the 30 September 2020 included, can postpone their travel date up to one year from their ticket issuance date, under the following conditions:  Changes to initially non-modifiable, or modifiable with fee, tickets - travel dates may be changed: • if the travel date is postponed to a date before the 30 November 2020: the date can be changed without fees, seasonal or fare adjustment, in the same travel cabin. • if the travel date is postponed to the 1 December 2020 and after: the date can be changed without fees, with seasonal or fare adjustment if applicable. (For tickets which were purchased with a territorial continuity voucher, the departure must be booked before 31 Departure 2020). - the destination may be changed without fees with a fare adjustment if applicable. This is not applicable for passengers who have benefited from a territorial continuity voucher.  Cancellation / Refunds: -Given the current unexpected circumstances, Air Austral will only refund tickets which were refundable at the time of purchase. -A voucher to the value of the ticket may be requested, depending on the re-use conditions as outlined above.
