It marks Tulsa at OHIO STATE the second time in three years the Big Ten collected 12 wins on the opening weekend, having also 3:30 p.m. ET - ABC done so in 2014. The last time the Big Ten had 12 victories in the same week was Sept. 26, 2015. Akron at WISCONSIN • Four Big Ten schools scored at least 50 points last weekend, the first time the conference had 3:30 p.m. ET - BTN four teams top 50 points in the same week since Sept. 1, 2007, when Indiana, Michigan State, Penn Indiana State at MINNESOTA State and Purdue all opened their seasons by scoring at least 50 points. 4 p.m. ET - ESPNEWS • Ohio State set a school record with 776 yards of total offense in its win over Bowling Green, North Carolina at ILLINOIS eclipsing the previous mark of 718 yards against Mount Union in 1930. The Buckeyes also reg- 7:30 p.m. ET - BTN istered the third-highest total offense yardage in Big Ten history behind only Nebraska’s 784 yards against Florida Atlantic (Aug. 30, 2014) and Minnesota’s conference-record 832 yards at Iowa State at IOWA Northwestern (Nov. 25, 1905). 7:30 p.m. ET - BTN • Ohio State’s seven passing touchdowns against Bowling Green tied the Big Ten record set on WEEK 1 RESULTS four previous occasions (the last by Michigan State at Illinois on Sept. 24, 2005).
