Twenty years of hoping and helping Vital Bridges held its annual holiday brunch on Dec. 7 on a crisp winter afternoon at the beautiful Four Seasons Hotel, 120 E. Delaware. Attendees were encouraged to dig deep into their wallets and purses while they noshed on cornbread-stuffed chicken breasts, wild rice and an amazing pumpkin brulee. The Food for Life Award went to Design Industry Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) and the Holt Family. Led by Elizabeth and Walter, the family has been an integral part of Vital Bridges through the years. Their late son, Bill, was a founder of the original organization. Photos by Mel Ferrand
