7. Meeting Community Needs - Eastern As the number of villages, towns and cities started to grow in Saskatchewan, so did the needs of those communities. To serve the various needs of residents, stores, offices, churches, fire halls, places of entertainment and other places were constructed. The stories of these communities are reflected in the historic places you will learn about when you answer the questions below.
