ach high school group will train regularly with two/three college coaches for the duration of the week. However, the coaches will rotate for at E least one session prior to the Evening Scrimmages so that each player has an opportunity to work with all coaches. During the week, players will learn the tactical and strategic principles of their coaches'’ university. The training sessions will be similar to a typical “game week” that you can expect at the Division I college level.

At the end of the week, the teams face off in back to back Showcase Games held at King Kekaulike High School School’s Stadium. The Games are coached by the college coaches, and all coaches will be present to evaluate all players (boys and girls) showing in both game.

This is an excellent opportunity for the coaches to see your ability and potential as a college player where it really matters!

At the end of both showcase games, the college coaches will select two players, one boy and one girl, to become MVP players of the Camp and Showcase Games. The MVP players will be awarded with some great Nike swag from KING KEKAULIKE HIGH Valley Isle Soccer Academy. SCHOOL MAUI The college coaches have full control and discretion over the playing time of GIRLS KICKOFF: each player. Given that the coaches will be actively recruiting upper classmen, it 4:30 PM is likely that sophomores, juniors and seniors will see slightly more playing time than incoming freshmen. BOYS KICKOFF: All parents, family and friends are encouraged to attend the Showcase Games, 6:30 PM which will receive local media coverage and provide a great competitive Entry into the Showcase atmosphere for all of your supporters! MEN’S COACHES

BRANDON McNEIL | UNIVERITY OF PORTLAND Brandon McNeil, a former defender for the Pilots, joined the University of Portland soccer coaching staff in July of 2008. He assists in all phases of the men’s and women’s soccer programs, while traveling with the men. McNeil came to UP after one season as head coach of the girls soccer team at Lincoln High School in downtown Portland.

In his one season at the helm of the Cardinals, McNeil led the team to the Oregon 6A State Championship and was named the state coach of the year. Lincoln finished the 2007 season with a perfect 18-0 record to claim the school’s first state title in girls soccer. Previously, McNeil was an assistant coach for the Sunset H.S. (Portland, Ore.) boys soccer team for three years (2004-06).

After 10-year stint coaching for FC Portland, McNeil joined the Northeast United Soccer Club as the Director of Coaching in January of 2014. McNeil received his US Soccer ‘A’ Coaching License in July 2012.

McNeil (1998-2001) was a four-year starter for the Pilots and earned All-West Coast Conference honors as a senior. Originally from San Diego, Calif., McNeil scored two goals and handed out 17 assists during his career on The Bluff. He helped the Pilots reach the NCAA postseason twice, advancing to the third round in 2001.

BRIAN PLOTKIN | LOYOLA CHICAGO UNIVERSITY Brian Plotkin, a two-time NCAA champion at Indiana University and former professional player for the Chicago Fire and Columbus Crew of (MLS), is in his second year as an assistant men's soccer coach at Loyola University Chicago. Plotkin is the first hire for Neil Jones' inaugural staff at Loyola.

Plotkin has gained coaching experience as an academy assistant coach and high school staff coach for Sockers FC, and he also served on the staff for six years, including one as assistant director of coaching for the Chicago Fire Juniors, where he oversaw 30 boys and girls teams in local, state, and regional competitions.

During his collegiate playing days, Plotkin was one of the top players in the country at Indiana and in addition to helping lead the Hoosiers to back-to-back NCAA titles in 2003 and 2004, was named 2005 Big Ten Player of the Year, First Team National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-America, and was the runner-up for the Hermann Trophy, which is awarded to the nation's top collegiate player.

Upon graduation, Plotkin played three seasons with the Chicago Fire and Columbus Crew in MLS, as well as with the Carolina RailHawks in USL-1 after being drafted 20th overall in the 2006 MLS SuperDraft. During his MLS career, the midfielder was named 2006 Chicago Fire Educator of the Year and helped the squad to the 2008 MLS Cup and 2006 US Open Cup championships.

IAN MacAULEY| UC SAN DIEGO

Ian MacAuley is in his first season as the Assistant Coach for the University of California San Diego, having played at UCSD throughout his collegiate career. UCSD competes in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA), arguably the most competitive NCAA Division II conference in the country.

In the past few years, UCSD has produced three Daktronics All-America, seven Daktronics All-West Region, five NSCAA All-West Region, 11 All-CCAA, two CCAA Most Valuable Defensive Player, three Capital One Academic All-District 8 and 39 CCAA All-Academic honorees.

VITO HIGGENS | GONZAGA UNIVERSITY | GOALKEEPER COACH

Vito Higgins of Gonzaga University has been confirmed as the goalkeeper coach for the Valley Isle Soccer Academy 2014 College Prep Camp and Youth Soccer Camp this summer from June 2-6, 2014.

Higgins, who had an outstanding career in the nets at Gonzaga University, returned to the coaching box for the Bulldogs in 2008. Now in his fifth year, the native of Kailua, Hawaii, joined the Gonzaga staff after a foot injury cut short his professional career. The Bulldogs’ all-time leader in saves with 305, he had signed as a free agent with the Los Angeles Galaxy of the MLS in the spring of 2008 following a tryout, but decided to forego his professional career when Thorarinsson offered him a spot on his staff.

Higgins was instrumental in the Bulldogs reaching the NCAA Tournament in 2007, posting a 0.71 goals-against-average for the season which still ranks second on the single-season list behind fellow Hawaiian Josh Fouts and his 0.68 in 1998. Higgins also posted a 1.34 career GAA that still ranks tid for third with Scott Barnum and behind Fouts (0.83) and another Hawaiian, Mike McCarthy (1.16). His 14 career shutouts rank second behind Fouts. MEN’S COACHES

RUSTY JOHNSON | DE ANZA COLLEGE Rusty is the first year Head Coach at De Anza College. He served as the Associate Head Coach at De Anza last year. Rusty came to De Anza College after spending 10 years coaching at his alma mater, Santa Clara University. During his tenure at Santa Clara, Rusty worked with several current professional players, such as, Joe Cannon, Mehdi Ballouchy, Jide Ogunbiyi, Amaechi Igwe, Jamil Walker, Jalil Anibaba, Stephen McCarthy, Kevin Klasila, Larry Jackson, and Erik Hurtado. In addition, Rusty has worked with many former MLS standouts, like Ryan Cochrane, Erik Ustruck, Eric Denton, Jeff Stewart, Steve Cronin, Peter Lowry, and Matt Marquess. Working with players of this caliber gives Rusty the perspective needed to promote and develop players to the top levels of the game.

Rusty is also very involved in the community, working with the De Anza Force soccer club. Rusty helps as an assistant to the U18 De Anza Force Academy team. Also, Rusty is also the Director of Goalkeeping for the Tri-Valley Soccer Club of San Ramon.

As a player at Santa Clara University, Rusty was part of a team that played in two College Cup's in a row (1998 & 1999). In 1999, Rusty played in the National Championship game televised on ESPN, losing 1-0 to the eventual champions, Indiana. Rusty's name still sits at the top end of many of the Santa Clara record books in, career shutouts (24), goals against average (.79), and consecutive shutout minutes (526:14).

BJ NOBLE | NOTRE DAME DE NAMUR UNIVERSITY Coach Noble took the helm of the NDNU men’s and women’s soccer program before the 2009 season. In his coaching career, Coach Noble has had the opportunity to develop players at the collegiate, high school and club levels for over the past 25 years. Since arriving at NDNU Coach Noble’s teams have earned 106 Academic All-Pac West selections, 55 All Pac-West selections, 28 NSCAA/Daktronics All-West Region selections, and 3 NSCAA/Daktronics All- American selections. In 2010 the men’s soccer program led the country in goals against average at .47 and set the programs all-time winning percentage record. In 2012 the NDNU men’s soccer program returned to the NCAA Division II National Championship Tournament for the second time in school history.

Prior to arriving at NDNU, Noble served as the head men’s coach for two years at Millikin University in Decatur, IL and led the Big Blue to a 10-8-2 record in 2008. Before Millikin, Noble held the position of head coach for the U-17 boys and girls Neusport FC teams in Las Vegas. His teams found success at the state, regional, and national level. While earning his master’s degree at California’s University of Redlands, Noble served as the assistant men’s soccer coach from 2004-06. During his two years at Redlands, the teams went 32-6-5 with Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SCIAC) championships and NCAA Division III playoff appearances in 2004 and 2005. The 2005 team also held SCIAC opponents scoreless in league play.

Coach Noble’s coaching career began by way of Salt lake City, Utah. Noble had the great fortune to coach at the club, high school and semi-pro level while residing in Utah. Noble held coaching positions with Jordan high School, Northern United, Sparta United, and the Utah Salt Ratz. His tenure in Utah was able to garner league, tournament, state, and regional titles along with a National Championship in 2001. He credits much of his success to all of the great coaches, families, management, and players he encountered while in the Salt Lake City. WOMEN’S COACHES

CHRISTIE WELSH | UNIVERSITY OF OREGON Christie Welsh enters her third season as an assistant coach with the University of Oregon women’s soccer program. Welsh, a Hermann Trophy winner and former U.S. National Team member, was one of the most decorated players in Penn State University and Big Ten Conference history.

A member of the U.S. National Team from 2000 until 2008, Welsh tallied 20 goals over 39 international contests. An alternate for the 2000 Sydney Olympics, she was part of the 2004, 2006, and 2007 Olympic and World Cup training residencies.

Welsh was the first Penn State player to earn NSCAA All-America honors in each of her four years, while leading her squad to four-straight Big Ten titles and two Final Four appearances from 1999-02. Following her collegiate career, Welsh was drafted second overall in the 2003 WUSA Draft by the New York Power. Leading her team in scoring, Welsh would go on to play internationally for KIF Orebro of Sweden's First Division in 2004 and Olympique Lyonnaise of the French First Division in 2005.

In the 2014 season, Welsh helped the Ducks achieve a 1.04 goals against average, giving UO their best average since 2006 (third-best average in school history). Oregon was also able to defeat their rivals, Washington, for the first time since 2006, along with having 12 different players score a goal over the course of the season. The Ducks finished the year at No. 74 in the final NCAA RPI – giving the program their highest RPI finish since 2009.

KELLY LAWRENCE | SYRACUSE UNIVERSITY Kelly Lawrence joined the Syracuse staff as an assistant coach in January 2104. Lawrence came to Syracuse from Monmouth University in West Long Branch, N.J.

At Monmouth, Lawrence’s duties included coaching primarily the defensive back line, recruiting, assisting in all areas of team performance and handling day-to-day operations of the team. She helped guide the Hawks to back-to-back MAAC regular-season championships in 2013 and 2014. Monmouth also won the 2013 conference tournament title to earn an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament where it faced Penn State in the first round.

In 2013, Lawrence led a defensive line that ranked first in the nation in shutout percentage (.762), fourth in goals-against average (0.42) and fifth winning percentage (.857).

Lawrence spent seven years as a member of the English national team. She was a four-year starter at Indiana University and became the only player in program history to earn All-Big Ten honors all four years. In addition, she was a three-time all-region honoree. Lawrence was on the Mac Herman Watch List in 2008. After graduating, she took part in preseason camp for Women’s Professional Soccer’s St. Louis Athletica club and won two WPSL national championships with Boston in 2010 and Orange County in 2011.

WOMEN’S COACHES

CHALISE BAYSA | SEATTLE PACIFIC UNIVERSITY Morgan Church enters her first season as assistant coach of the Gonzaga University women’s soccer program. Church came to the Zags from the University of North Florida, where she spent seven years on the women’s soccer staff. During her final three years with the Ospreys, she served as the associate head coach. In all, Church coached 12 Atlantic Sun All-Conference players, seven All -Freshman honorees, and the 2010 Freshman of the Year. Also, two players were named CoSIDA Academic All-Americans and the squad as a whole received NSCAA Team-Academic Awards five times. Church began coaching after a playing both collegiate and professional soccer. She started playing at Marshall University as a freshman and transferred to the University of Charleston for her sophomore and Junior seasons. With the Golden Eagles, she earned two All-Mountain East Conference honors and led the team in scoring both of the seasons she was there. She played her senior year at Berry College, starting 19 of 20 matches and leading the Lady Vikings with 12 goals. After graduation, Church played professionally in the W-League for the Tampa Bay Hellenic, Washington Freedom, Carolina Dynamo, and the Northern Virginia Majestics. While in Washington, she helped lead the Freedom to a W-League Championship victory. After retiring as a professional player, she worked as the assistant commissioner for the Freedom from 2006 to 2007. Church holds numerous coaching licenses and certifications, including a USSF ‘A’ Coaching License, NSCAA Regional Goalkeeper license, and NSCAA Professional Development certificate. Her additional coaching experience has allowed her to coach and develop top players in the Florida Olympic Develop Program, and she’s also participated in both the Region 1 and Region 3 Olympic Development coaching staff. Church also coached on the club level, leading both Jacksonville FC and Creeks Soccer Club.

ANDY PRINGLE | UNIVERSITY OF LAS VEGAS, NEVADA Andy Pringle first joined the UNLV staff as goalkeeper coach in February of 2013. He was promoted to full-time assistant in spring 2014 and led the team during the head coaching transition, and then was kept on staff by Chris Shaw and elevated to the top assistant position.

Pringle's roles with the team will include: goalkeeper training, scouting opposition, assisting with recruitment, assisting with training and development of players in practice and game settings, and game day organization. As the goalkeeper coach in 2013, he oversaw Kylie Wassell to a season that included five shutouts, 86 saves and a GAA of just 1.16 in over 2,000 minutes play, en route to being named all-conference.

Before moving to Las Vegas in 2012, Pringle built an extensive club and high school coaching resume in Southern California and still runs a goalkeeper school there. In addition to his role at UNLV, he now works as the Director of Coaching for a local club as well as goalkeeper coach for Nevada ODP. He currently holds a USSF C license and NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma. Pringle is also currently attending classes at UNLV while working on his degree.

Growing up in Newcastle, England, Pringle was a product of the Newcastle United youth system, enjoying four years there before moving on to several other professional clubs. In the U.S., he won the U19 National Championship with Nomads of San Diego and played in the A- League and USL. WOMENS’ COACHES | ECNL

TOMMY MCNAUGHTON | DEL SOL SOCCER CLUB

Tommy McNaughton has been a part of S.C. del Sol since 2006, after leaving his native England where he coached at the Manchester City Football Club Academy. McNaughton holds an NSCAA Advanced, National and Regional Diploma as well as a EUFA C License.

SC del Sol has proudly earned the exclusive status of a Nike Premier Club. Its competitive program is widely regarded as being one of the best run and most successful in the region on both the girls’ and boys’ sides. The club’s emphasis on total player development within SC del Sol has resulted in success in some of the largest tournaments in the country and wide recognition from both college and professional programs. S.C. del Sol is affiliated with the Elite Club’s National League (ECNL), the most prestigious competitive girls’ league in the country.

ELITE CLUBS NATIONAL LEAGUE

The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) was founded in 2009 to enhance the developmental experience of female youth soccer players in the . It is the main league through which U.S. Youth National Team coaches and college coaches identify top female soccer players

VANESSA VALENTINE | CAL POLY POMONA

After helping the Cal Poly Pomona women's soccer program reach new heights during the 2014 season, Vanessa Valentine has been selected to continue as Acting Head Coach entering the 2015 campaign. With Valentine serving as the top assistant to head coach Mike Dibbini, the 2014 Broncos posted a record of 15-6-1 as CPP advanced to the West Region title game in the third round of the NCAA Tournament. It marked the furthest in the playoffs for any Broncos' women's soccer team since 1999. CPP closed the 2014 season with a No. 16 national ranking. It marked the second-highest ranking in program history, trailing only the 1999 squad that closed the year at No. 2.

Prior to joining the Broncos' coaching staff in 2014, Valentine expanded her coaching experience with stints at Hope International of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the Long Beach FC Soccer Club. In 2012 and 2013, she served as the General Manager of the Los Angeles Strikers W-League Team.

A Cal State Fullerton graduate, Valentine was the team manager for the Titans' Division I women's soccer team. After graduation, she entered the club coaching ranks and held positions with a variety of clubs such as the Fullerton Rangers, San Diego Surf, Albion SC, Rancho Santa Fe and Carlsbad Elite. As a student-athlete at Cal State Fullerton, Valentine competed for the women's soccer program from 2001 through 2004. She earned All-Big West Conference honors in each of her four seasons, including First Team selection as a senior. Valentine is one of four Titans all-time to become a four-time All-Conference honoree. She also led CSUF to an NCAA Tournament appearance in 2001.
