www.koreaheating.com 05 The Heating Film - The heating film, Hot Film, is a breakthrough product which will lead the future of indoor Hot Film facility heating. Powered by electricity, the heating film heats up the facility effectively without any dust or allergens. SH KOREA, the leader in electric heating in Korea with its acclaimed production facility and engineering expertise, has been supplying heating films with the best quality which no one can match. The heating film is made by following a complex process of printing and binding. The primary heating material, carbon paste, is prepared by precisely combining materials to get the required electric characteristic. The carbon paste is printed over heat-resistant base PET film with laser carved molds. The silver paste, working as a conducting material, printed by following the same steps. The printed base PET film is bound with Laminex film. The 99% pure copper bar, working as a conducting material, is placed between the base PET film and the Laminex film on each edge. The heat is generated by using the carbon’s own electric resistance characteristics. In addition to effectively heating up the facility, the carbon naturally emits far infrared ray and anion which promote healthy environments by eliminating odor and sick home syndrome causing materials and suppressing bacterial growth.

Patented Silver Bar Design to prevent electric shock.

Hot Film 1. Conventional Band Silver Bar Patent Technology · Due to structural characteristics, an air layer is formed between the copper bar and the silver bar. of Silver Pattern As the film is heated, the air may expand and damage the film bonding.

· Electric sparks may occur around the copper bar area. The silver bar is printed on top of the carbon bar, and the copper bar is placed right over the silver bar. When a constant pressure is applied on the part, it may cause dielectric breakdown which can cause electric sparks.

2. SH KOREA’s Patented Silver Bar · The terrace silver bar design makes sure the copper bar and silver bar are bonded tightly to prevent the air cushion from forming.

· The terraced design separates the copper bar from the carbon bar to prevent dielectric breakdown. The silver bar acts as a bridge between the two bars.

3. Key Technology for the Safe Heating Film The key technology for making a safe heating film lies in the silver bar design. Conventional heating films were prone to fail because of weakness in the copper and carbon bar connection.

SH KOREA's patented silver bar design separates the two bars from each other, preventing the cause of the dielectric breakdown. The design also actively prevents air cushions from being formed.

Moreover, SH KOREA only uses silver pastes with the optimal level of purity and electric resistance which are more than enough to withstand the maximum electric load of the heating film.
