[email protected], pangearecordings.com Big DJ support and a lot of hard work paved the way for Pangea to become an international label in 2003 with the release of Evrydaydowners “This World,” which topped numerous charts such as Hooj and was dubbed by them to be THE record of the Winter Music Conference 2003. Pangea's third release was also championed at that same winter music conference at the Ultra Festival, where Sasha and Digweed played Joshua Collin's “Project 3.” Released the following September, it is still pleasing crowds until this very day. 2003 was a very bright year for the label. The success of Pangea Recordings has enabled the label to branch out into other parts of the world and genres of music in 2004. Pangea UK was formed July 14, 2004, and saw its first release in October 2004. This sister label is dedicated to dance music with a harder vibe but still progressive in its sound and structure, and is managed and located in the United Kingdom. Another sister label, Pangea Recordings Digital was formed in order to promote and take advantage of the growing trend of on-line merchandising of music. Pangea Digital will be launched on May 1st, 2005 exclusively through EDM digital, and will vary as to style and genre without sacrificing the quality that Pangea has become world renown for. Also in late 2004, 1Shot Recordings was formed in order to promote tracks that were not progressive in nature, and had a different sound while still providing a great beat to dance to.
