Rising Fourth Grade Summer Reading Homework Direcons 1. We want to encourage reading quality literature and have included a suggested reading list that includes quality literature at various levels to challenge you. There is nothing to turn in, but I’d love to see what you’re reading. You can have your parents emails photos of you reading throughout the summer to my email: [email protected] My goal is to have you read 1000 minutes over the summer. I know that seems like a lot, but once you get reading you will be surprised at how quickly you can rack up those minutes! 2. You must read Which Way Freedom? by Joyce Hansen. We will be using this book for reading, English, and history assignments/projects when we return, so I recommend taking notes while you read. These notes are not required, but will help you keep the story fresh in your mind.
