Positive Post is a strategic effort to project achievement and contributions of Pakistan. While showcasing Greenwich University’s cultural diplomacy initiatives, it also encapsulates a compilation of different developments complementing Pakistan’s socio-cultural, economic and Political outcomes. Defence Day at Greenwich University By Ali Jillani Head, Diplomatic Affairs

Greenwich University commemorated Pakistan's Defence Day on September 6, 2019 at its Karachi Campus. The event featured doc- umentaries of martyrs, national songs and speeches highlighting the sacrifices for sovereignty and honor. The seminar also featured a special emphasis on the commendable resistance of innocent Kashmiri people against the atrocious state terrorism of the Indian state.

Seema Mughal, Vice Chancellor, emphasized that love for the motherland must be the top most priority for every Pakistani. The principle of national sovereignty must go hand in hand with our quest for globalization. She also pressed that Kashmir’s right to self determination must be respected on the basis of humanitarian considerations. She encouraged the young students of arts, media and social sciences to play their role in supporting Kashmiri nar- rative through social media.

Ali Jillani, Head - Diplomatic Affairs, explained how globalization

He admired Kashmiri resistance unmasking the abuse of human rights by the so-called largest democracy in the world violating several UN resolutions, and called on the international community to stand by the values they cherish and propagate. He pressed that UN should play a proactive role in mediating the conflict to avoid a nuclear catastrophe affect- ing millions.
