Alveley Room Kinlet Room

ALVELEY ROOM

The smaller of the two rooms, Alveley is suitable for a conference/meeting layout of up to 20 people, or an audience format of approximately 40. Alveley has the advantage of an interesting shape and a full height picture window that overlooks the locomotive display hall. There are also stunning views from this room towards the beautifully restored Highley Station.

KINLET ROOM

Kinlet can accommodate approximately 50 people in ‘audience’ configuration or 30 in ‘conference’ layout. Kinlet is situated close to our restaurant, appropriately named ‘Buffers’, so is ideal if your day requires a catering option. Because of its size and shape Kinlet is also particularly suited if ‘break out’ group activities are part of your plan.

THEATRE

Although not available when The Engine House is open to the public, the theatre, situated on the ground floor, can be configured for all types of audio-visual presentation and is also suitable for exhibitions and displays. The theatre can accommodate an audience of approximately 60 people seated.

EXCLUSIVE USE OPTION

Whilst The Engine House is open to the public every weekend, throughout the summer months and during the school holidays it is available, at attractive all inclusive rates, for events requiring ‘exclusive use’ at other times. Exclusive use increases the amount of floor area available for your event and makes it possible to arrange some or all of your activities in the main locomotive hall.

This facility is particularly appropriate for organisations and individuals that may wish to:
