Nuala O’Leary Location: Croatia Exec. Producers Andy Harries, Paul Gilbert, Bob Conte, Rob Bullock Production Co. Left Bank Pictures / Cinemax / HBO “Strike Back is a multifaceted and challenging show to produce with high levels of action. Kristian produced a block of episodes that moved from a forest in Afghanistan to the streets of Munich, all shot in Croatia. The block included car crashes, shoot-outs, explosions, foot chases and a seven-ton tanker flipping and crashing into a gas station. There was also some drama in amongst all of that. Kristian's work across the creative and logistical aspects of the show was thoughtful and diligent. He communicated well with production, and supported his director, while also looking out for the writer's intentions and what was in the show's best interest. Episode six was also a particularly challenging episode as it was trying something the show hadn't done before. It was a non-linear episode that included key story strands for the rest of the season. Kristian handled the episode incredibly well while managing the cast and crew duties smoothly and skillfully. I would highly recommend him for any producing job. Series Producer Nuala O’Leary “Kristian did very well indeed. Popular with crew and actors and smart. His block is among our very best and he is an important part of it.” Exec. Producer Andy Harries OBE “Strike Back is a trial by fire: a frenetic, complex production that loves to punch above its weight. Kristian stepped up the challenge with impressive calm and was a pleasure to work with. He not only established an excellent rapport with the director and production, but also won the trust of an exacting cast. The result speaks for itself: an excellent block” Exec. Producer Rob Bullock “Kristian was fantastic to work with. As a producer he was supportive, full of creative solutions and superb with cast & crew. In pressured situations he always had a calm response with an innate ability to negotiate a way through the myriad of problems a shoot in a foreign country can bring. I also hugely value his kindness and amiability, which brought a sense of family to our unit and which paid massive dividends in what eventually went down the lens. It was a huge pleasure to work with him and I value the sense I have found a true friend in this industry”. Over six episodes of Da Vinci’s Demons Season 3, he demonstrated not only exceptional core skills in scheduling and running the floor but also made significant contributions to production and talent management. He is a calm, dynamic presence on set, creating a disciplined and creative environment that is structured yet flexible. He combines great professionalism with considerable charm and is always responsive and informed; the complete package”. Producer, Matthew Bouch “Kristian is dedicated, focused and clear in his instructions, organised and good at scheduling but most of all he has great people skills and a sense of humour. On the floor he has a gentle and persuasive command. He is very courteous of the crew and cast and both respond with trust and efficiency. We have an artist who is on every day and in every scene. He totally protects her and her space allowing her to get through really tough days without any loss to her performance. He moves the day through and liaises very precisely with camera and director to make sure coverage is got and the days are completed. Most importantly as well is that he understands the requirement to include and communicate with production at all moments of the shooting day. Generally very good egg (and

  • Hbo Premieres the Third Season of Game of Thrones
HBO PREMIERES THE THIRD SEASON OF GAME OF THRONES The new season will premiere simultaneously with the United States on March 31st Miami, FL, March 18, 2013 – The battle for the Iron Throne among the families who rule the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros continues in the third season of the HBO original series, Game of Thrones. Winner of two Emmys® 2011 and six Golden Globes® 2012, the series is based on the famous fantasy books “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R.R. Martin. HBO Latin America will premiere the third season simultaneously with the United States on March 31st. Many of the events that occurred in the first two seasons will culminate violently, with several of the main characters confronting their destinies. But new challengers for the Iron Throne rise from the most unexpected places. Characters old and new must navigate the demands of family, honor, ambition, love and – above all – survival, as the Westeros civil war rages into autumn. The Lannisters hold absolute dominion over King’s Landing after repelling Stannis Baratheon’s forces, yet Robb Stark –King of the North– still controls much of the South, having yet to lose a battle. In the Far North, Mance Rayder (new character portrayed by Ciaran Hinds) has united the wildlings into the largest army Westeros has ever seen. Only the Night’s Watch stands between him and the Seven Kingdoms. Across the Narrow Sea, Daenerys Targaryen – reunited with her three growing dragons – ventures into Slaver’s Bay in search of ships to take her home and allies to conquer it.
