 38+ years of experience playing the guitar family of instruments (stringed/fretted/plucked) including electric guitar, acoustic steel, classical guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, mandolin, 5 string banjo and Tenor Banjo. A range of styles, techniques and contexts covered. Other information:

1. 92 – 94: experience working in and with the media: journalistic work with local radio stations and television (Granada TV), Hospital Radio, newspapers, film companies etc. Note: I still spend a lot of time using the media to promote my business interests – includes TV and radio interviews, newspaper articles etc. 2. A PGCE was undertaken in the 90’s but due to other work commitments was unable to complete the course. 3. Currently working towards jazz Guitar Diplomas with the Registry of Guitar Tutors 4. Good work processing skills and internet knowledge including web design. 5. Run a recording studio in Manchester offering a service to bands/artists and other clients. 6. Basic keyboard playing skills 7. Between 94 and 98, part time work doing tele-work: marketing, sales and market research including MORI OPINION POLLS.
