Ikon Pass FAQs What is the difference between an Ikon Pass and an Ikon Base Pass? Ikon Pass is the pass with the most days and the least restrictions as there are no blackout days during the season. Ikon Base Pass offers the best value with limited restriction and blackout dates. No, these discounts only apply to students and members of the military in North America. What does it mean when it say I receive 5 or 7 days combined at a destination? You receive 5 or 7 days combined at each of the following destinations: Aspen Snowmass: Aspen Mountain, Snowmass, Aspen Highlands, Buttermilk AltaSnowbird Loon Mountain, Sugarloaf, Sunday River SkiBig3 Banff Sunshine Village, Lake Louise and Mt. Norquay The pass does not allow 5 or 7 days at each mountain i.e. 5 or 7 days at Aspen Mountain and 5 or 7 days at Snowmass, only a combined 5 or 7 days at these destinations What additional benefits do you receive with the Ikon Pass and Ikon Base Pass? No, days are not transferable from one destination to another Can I transfer days from my Ikon Pass to anyone? No, days are not transferable from one pass holder to another. Only the Ikon Pass holder can use the pass. If the pass holder is injured or otherwise cannot utilise the Pass, the Pass is still non-transferable, nor is it refundable without Pass Protection. Do I have to use the days consecutively or can I split them up over the season? You do not have to use the days consecutively. Can the 18/19 Ikon Pass be used at Thredbo during the 2019 Australian Season? No, all 18/19 Ikon Pass can only be used at Thredbo during the 2018 season. Ikon Pass for 2019/2020 will go on sale early in 2019, for use at Thredbo during the 2019 season. How do I get my Ikon Pass for use at Thredbo starting June 2018? Ikon Pass can be redeemed at any Thredbo Guest Services Office with proof of identification (North American pass holders will receive Ikon Passes in the mail beginning September 2018). What if I have forgotten my Ikon Pass? There may be a fee for replacing a forgotten Pass, fees may vary by destination. Please visit a ticket window or season pass office at the destination you are visiting for more information. Will the Mountain Collective be available for Winter 2018/2019? Yes, the Mountain Collective will still be available for winter 2018-2019. However the Mountain Collective is not an Alterra Mountain Company product. No, the Ikon Pass is only available to purchase with a debit or credit pass. The Ikon Pass can only be purchased directly at ikonpass.com or through a preferred travel partners. Is there a Cancelation policy? No, your Ikon Pass purchase may not be cancelled. The Ikon Pass is non-refundable and non-transferable. Pass protection is available to purchase. .
