The sold out bourse had over 325 tables along with competitive exhibits, special programs for young numismatists (YNs), presentations, and exhibits from The United States Mint and the ANA. The show was opened at 10 am on Friday, ANA Road Show Team- Rod Gillis (L) and Tiffanie April 17 with the ribbon being cut by Bueschel, with Richard Jozefiak (ANA District United States Mint employees. Representative- Alabama) (R) On Saturday morning, Rod Gillis (ANA Educational Director) held a Boy Scout Merit badge program. Over 20 scouts earned their coin collecting merit badge. The ANA provided a free six month ANA membership to the scouts that completed the program. On Saturday afternoon, the YN Program had a crowd of over 110 people attending, with over 60 young people. Led by Mr. Bob Hartje, a program of students United States Mint Sales Booth and Exhibit Area representing different historical people on money was performed. Nine of the exhibitors were Junior class displays. Large competitive class is exhibits with more than 4 display cases. Small competitive class is exhibits with 1-3 display cases. Two cent piece Small, competitive- Headed West: The Myriam Saldarriaga 1884 CC BU Silver 1st Place Changing Faces of Miss Dollar, in original GSA Liberty packaging Eight educational programs were held during the show. The 30-45 minute presentations were on a wide variety of numismatic topics. Many of the speakers were nationally known numismatic experts.
