PRESS RELEASE – March 18, 2018 Susan Carrier (951) 551-5363 [email protected] TRIBUTE TO BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN HEADS TO HHT After this weekend's Tribute to Fleetwood Mac, there remains just two events in Season One of the Tribute Mania Concert Series at the Historic Hemet Theatre. The series has been highly successful for the HHT Foundation, filling the venue with cheering fans. On Saturday April 14th, the run continues with a Tribute to Bruce Springsteen. Nicknamed "The Boss," Springsteen is best remembered for his poetic lyrics, distinctive voice and energetic stage performances. "The Boss" recorded dozens of memorable classics, including "Dancing in the Dark," "I'm on Fire," "Born to Run," "Glory Days," "Thunder Road," "Hungry Heart," "My Hometown," and "Born in the U.S.A." "The Rising" is a talented group of musicians with a passion for the music of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. Their show spans nearly five decades of Bruce Springsteen's classics, from "Greetings From Asbury Park" through Springsteen's 2012 release "Wrecking Ball." This will be the first appearance by "The Rising" at HHT and local fans are thrilled to have the opportunity hear them perform here. Members of "The Rising" are Tom Vitorino (lead vocals, guitar, harmonica), Owen Goldman (drums), Bobby Holley (saxophone, percussion, vocals), Alex Rice (piano, vocals), Brian Stewart (guitar, vocals), Dan Hange (bass) and Dave Lewis (organ). Concert patrons that night will also be the first to hear the lineup for Season Two of the Tribute Mania Series - eight concerts scheduled for May through August. That will also be the first opportunity to purchase tickets for the upcoming events. Showtime for all Tribute Mania concerts is 7:00 pm, with doors open at 6:15 pm. Tickets are $22 presale / $25 day of show. The final tributes in the current series will be Tom Petty (March 28). HHT also features classic films for just $5 every Monday and Tuesday evening at 7:00 pm. Coming up on Monday the 26th, The Gunman from Bodie (1941) starring Buck Jones, Tim McCoy, and Raymond Hatton, and on Tuesday the 27th, Nabonga (1944) starring Buster Crabbe, Julie London, and Barton MacLane.
