It has been a very busy few months as crews work to complete the first of the projects that were included in the bond approved by vot- ers in March 2020. Clockwise, work contin- ues on the two-room addition at Thomson Elementary; a groundbreaking ceremony for the perform- ing arts center was held prior to the June 14 Board of Edu- cation meet- ing; the turf and additional restrooms are installed at Car- dinal Stadium and work is now taking place on the track; Transportation, Food Services and DCER staff will be moving into their new digs (the Cardi- nal Station) off Lapeer Road at the end of July; the concrete block goes up for the additon at Thomson Elementary.
