Collier Hills English Avenue The Villages at Carver Mother Mamie Moore Photographed by: Monica Campana @monicaxcampana Pittsburgh Just Us Mother Mamie Moore has been a resident of the English Avenue neighborhood for seven years after she was called to come to the area. She remembers driving around the city looking for a place to live and she Oakland City remembered people thinking she was crazy to be drawn to the neighborhood. But for her, it was Atlanta more than any neighborhood she passed. She is the founder of the Historic Westside Cultural Arts Council. West End "Gentrification is happening everywhere,” she says. “My bet is for people to Reynoldstown do something with their image and confidence, to help enable inner city folk Grant Park to know their culture – Do you know who you are?
