What do I do once I get to Huron for the horse show? 1. Enter the State Fairgrounds at Gate 4 located off Market St. on Nevada Ave. 2. Your horses will be inspected to ensure their descriptions match those on your CVI. 3. Stalls must be paid for and will be assigned at this point. You must complete your information cards and attach them to your stalls. 4. Locate and set up your stalls. Only woodchips may be used as bedding. Tack stalls may be locked, but stalls with horses inside must remain unlocked in case of emergency. 5. Go to the Horse Show Office located in the Beef Complex to drop off your CVI and pick up your back tag and program. a. Your backtag must be attached to your back, unobstructed by hair, or on your saddle pad. b. Pins will be included. 6. You may use the indoor and outdoor arenas for practice and warmup a. Showmanship, Equitation, and Performance events are $5 per youth per event. Each roping event “go” will incur an additional $25 for stock fees. There is no entry fee for Youth in Action contests.
