PUNE DISTRICT EDUCATION ASSOCIATION'S MAMASAHEB MOHOL COLLEGE, PUNE. 48/1A,Erandwane,Paud Road,Pune - 411038(Maharashtra) India "Accredited By NAAC At 'B' Grade " Computer Science Department REPORT 2019-2020 As always Department of computer science follows and implements innovative programs every year, this year also we practiced various new activities to explore our student’s knowledge. Add-On course:- The Department of Computer science conducted Add-on course on “Hardware and Networking”. This course has jointly organized with Cloud-Tech Solution for F.Y./S.Y./T.Y/B.Sc (C.S)/F.Y./S.Y/T.Y.BBA (CA) students. The said course has started from August 2019 and completed on January 2020. The sessions of this course were very well executed by the expert Mr. Nitin Jori. He deeply explained all fundamentals as well as important point regarding hardware and networking. Besides that, he explained the said subject practically so students get understand the deep knowledge of hardware and networking part. Total 13 sessions (3 hours each) has been completed of this course. The syllabus has been reviewed at the last session of the course & depending on syllabus of add-on the test gets conducted by Mr.Nitin Jori. This course proved helpful as following three students from S.Y.B.Sc (CS) placed on the basis of hardware and networking knowledge: 1) Akshya Varve 2) Rahul Chorge 3)Pravin sapkal Role of Alumni 1. Mr.Vishal Aswar from Disha Computer Institute conduct a session on Project Development for SY,TY BSc.(C.S.)and BBA(C.A.) students on 04/09/2019. Around 30 students were present for this lecture who receive the technical know how about project development . 2. Mr. Deepak Kayani from Mealayer Android gaming Company, Pune conduct a session on Java Development on 11-09-2019. This session is very useful for TY BSc(CS)/BBA(CA) students to grow up in knowledge and its useful to complete their academic project. Around 16 students were present. Parent Meet:- The Department of Computer Science has been organized its parent meet on 21th Sep 2019. This program was conducted under the guidance of Principal. The chairman of this meet Principal Dr. Sushama Bhosale has explained an importance of discipline in the life. The objectives of the meet were, to understand parent’s suggestions, their opinion about college, to understand their complaints if any and also to give feedback about their ward. Around 30 parents have been present for the meet. There were one to one interaction between parents and subject teachers. Besides that, staff discussed about the performance of the students, their strengths and weakness in particular subject, student’s attendance, and their discipline in the class rooms etc. We have taken parents Feedback for reference. The IQAC coordinator Prof.Dr.Sapna Rane has explained about the Remedial Courses, Diagnostic Test, and Bridge Course which has conducted for the students. The parent like Shri. Maruti Barve, and Smt. Sunita Jangam expressed their positive views about college. They also shared their thoughts about relation between parent and ward. The member of parent-teacher association Prof. Seema Patil have done entire planning and execute the said parent meet. The chairman of parent-teacher association Prof.Dr.Sunita Dakle was present for the meet also all teaching and non-teaching staff was present for the meet. Guest Lecture:- 1. Mr.Rahul Chauhan from Flex-its, Pune conduct a session on Mobile Development application for UG and PG students on 7-12-2019. He given idea about prerequisites about core java concepts and explained about IOS application’s. Also he gave details about hands-on experience about web and native application using phone gap. Total 43 student were presents. 2. The Computer Department of Mamasaheb Mohol College has organized Mobile App Development using Android Guidance lecture for MSc(CS)-I on 8/2/2020. Mr. Mahesh Bhalerao from Infosys, Pune given brief idea about Android. He explained that, basic concepts of mobile App development .At the same time he practically shown some required practical and he made aware about its usage. Total 33 students were present. Project Exhibition:- On the occasion of Padmabhushan Hon. Sharadchandra Pawar’s birthday Department of computer science organized Project Exhibition for B.Sc(CS)/B.B.A(CA)/M.Sc. students. Students develop websites using different web based languages. Total 23 students were participated in this exhibition and total 13 projects presented by the students. Future Transport and Communication 6. Educational gains and Mathematical modelling Around 20 students were participated in the said event. The objectives of this practice are as follows: • To give more help and support for the slow learners. • To pay individual attention to the low achievers in the class. • To develop interest in attending remedial classes for the students. • To strengthen their knowledge skills • It helped the students to analyze the similarities among the paper pattern to crack the subject. • Students came to know to distinguish between the difficult part and easiest part of subject by which they can concentrate on the complexity of subject. BRIDGE COURSE:- The department of computer science has conducted bridge course for students to fill the gap by providing information about fundamental concept of computer science to new entrants. The aims of this practice are: • To act as a buffer for the new entrants. • To provide adequate time for the transition to hard-core subject of each program. • To prepare themselves for courses for first year commence. • The students will be equipped with the knowledge and the confidence needed to achieve the program outcome. DIAGNOSTIC TEST:- Like previous year this year also we are conducted d test over the google class room. Orientation program "NAAC":- On 21st Jan 2020 principal Dr. Balkrishna Zaware brief the students regarding NAAC through orientation program. As we know students are key factor of every educational institute. Thus, by considering this he very well explained about (Student Satisfaction Survey) which is an essential and Integral part of college assessment. Students received complete guidance of NAAC procedure through his motivated speech. Digital Learning Material:- Faculties of computer science department have upload their teaching material over the Google classroom as well as from last month they have started using LMS(Moodle) for the same. The learning material includes video lectures, PDF notes, PPT etc have not only uploaded on digital LMS but also over college YouTube channel NSS visit:- Like every year computer science department give their contribution in social cause by visiting NSS Camp at ‘Dakhane’ ,Tal.Mulshi,Dist.Pune. .

The authors have done a commendable job in putting together 146 published works on sacred groves of India in the form of an annotated bibliography. This work, it is hoped, will be of use to policy makers, anthropologists, ecologists, Forest Departments and NGOs. This publication has been prepared on behalf of the National Committee for Scientific Committee on Problems of Environment (SCOPE).
