In particular the eligibility criteria contained within the CSW By Laws should be noted. These By Laws are copied at the conclusion of this section. 1. GENERAL i. The League shall, if required, have a set up meeting in March and a wind up meeting within a fortnight of the conclusion of the Finals at which any remits for consideration for implementation the following year shall be considered by delegates. ii. The conduct and eligibility of schools’, players and coaches shall be in accordance with the Constitution and By Laws of College Sport Wellington & rules of Basketball New Zealand. iii. League games shall be scheduled as follows: Juniors – Tuesdays’ commencing the second Tuesday of term 2, and Seniors – Fridays’ commencing the first Friday of term 2, and both divisions concluding no later than the first week in September. *Note adjustments above in playing scheduled due to COVID-19 2. PLAYER ELIGIBILITY & REGISTRATION All players must: i. Be verified by the Principal as bona fide students of their school of representation. In this respect, players must be enrolled and attending a full time programme provided by the school of representation as defined by the Ministry of Education for capitation purposes. This should also include International and Alternative Education students declared by their Principal as bona fide students of the school they represent. ii. Students from “attached schools” (generally small secondary schools who have a formalised arrangement with a secondary school) are eligible to play for a “host school” (both definitions according to School Sport NZ (NZSSSC)).
