We’ll make our way through the rolling hills and picturesque Cotswolds’ villages en route to the Chavenage House. You may recognize this manor as Charles Poldark’s Cornish Home in the television series Poldark. Continue onto Bath and check into your hotel for the night. Meals: B, D Oxford, England Day 3 | London Sightseeing / Shakespeare’s Globe After a wholesome English breakfast, we’ll enjoy a guided tour through West End and Piccadilly Circus. See key filming locations from Downton Abbey, Sherlock, and Victoria, such as Buckingham Palace, Westminster Abbey, and Baker Street, to name a few. Stop at Shakespeare’s Globe, a reconstruction of the Elizabethan playhouse best known for hosting William Shakespeare’s influential plays. Visit Southwark Cathedral, the location of the King’s funeral scenes in The Crown. The rest of the Port Isaac, England evening is yours to explore and enjoy dinner on your own. Tour the Palace to see the collections of pictures, furniture, and tapestries. Afterwards, visit Windsor Castle, residence of The Queen and the largest inhabited castle in the world. The castle was used for filming exterior shots in Victoria and an alternative property represents Windsor Castle in The Crown, so you’ll have an opportunity to match the rooms with those represented in the series! Come together one last time as we enjoy a farewell dinner with the group tonight. Meals: B, D Day 10 | Travel Home The time has come for us to bid farewell to our fellow travelers. We’ll transfer to the airport for our flight home and reflect on our unforgettable time together. Meals: B Roman Baths Day 7 | Port Isaac / Saint Ives / Marazion Head west this morning and visit the key filming locations ofDoc Martin at the picturesque fishing village that doubles as Portwenn. Continue west to Saint Ives and admire the beautiful sandy beaches surrounding the town. We’ll make a stop at the Geevor Tin Mine Museum and learn the story of Cornwall’s rich industrial past. As we make our way back to Plymouth for the evening we’ll stop at the coastal village of Marazion to see the majestic outline of St. Michael’s Cotswolds Villages Mount, an important pilgrimage destination.
