- The Pride has won 20 of its last 24 games, 23 of the last 28, 49 of their last 77 contests, 57 of its last 90 games, 61 of the last 95, 72 of the last 115, and 85 of its last 131 games, dating back to 1999. - Hofstra has won 16 straight home games and 31 of its last 39 home contests at James M. PRIDE COACH SETH TIERNEY: Hofstra Men’s Lacrosse Coach Seth Tierney is in his first season with the Pride. Only the fifth head coach in the program’s history, Tierney came back to Hofstra after a 2007 HOFSTRA MEN’S LACROSSE six year stint at Johns Hopkins University, the last two years as HOFSTRA PRIDE (1-1) associate head coach. As the Blue Jays offensive coordinator, he was the architect of one of the most potent and explosive offenses in the at nation in recent years.
