The appointment shall be governed under OMCR&PRule for Non-executives-2012. 2.) The appointee shall be kept on probation for a period of one year from the date of his/her joining, during which his/her services can be terminated by the Appointing Authority by giving one month's notice. The probation period can be extended for a further period of one year. 3.) After confirmation, his/her servicescan be terminated at any time by a month's notice or in lieu thereof, on payment of one month's pay by either side viz. the appointee or the appointing authority & without assigning any reason. S l- '- 4.) The appointee shall avail MedicalFacilitiesfor self & dependant family members as per provisions of OMCMA Rules, 1976 (Amended). 5.) He/She shall carry out the work assigned to him/her by the higher authorities/ management. 6.) The appointment carries the liability of transfer to any place where the Corporation has its Office/Mines. 7.) During the tenure of employment in the Corporation, he/she shall be subject to the existing rules & regulations of the Corporation & subsequent amendments thereof from time to time. He/She shall also be subject to the provisions of the Corporation's Standing orders if these are applicable by operation of law or by extension of these provisions by the decision of the management. 8.) During the service under the OMC Ltd. he/she shall devote exclusively to the duty assigned to him/her from time to time. He/She shall personally attend thereto at all times during the usual working hours and other hours also as the exigencies of work require and the law in force permits. 9.) Accommodation to the extent availablemay be provided on usual rent & other services chargesas per the rules of the Corporation applicable from time to time as per dedslon of the management. 10.) The appointee shall furnish the following documents at the time of joining which will form part of her service record.

    1. I will be coming to Rourkela from outside Odisha, what should I do? After your arrival at Rourkela, you are required to report at the Covid-19 help desk in the Biju Patnaik University of Technology campus (Address: Annexure 1). After mandatory health check-up, if you are found to be symptomatic for COVID-19, the swab test will be conducted and you will be required to stay in government quarantine (paid/non-paid as per your preference) till the results are ready. If you are without symptoms, you will be allowed to stay in home quarantine for 14 days depending upon the availability of a separate bedroom and separate bathroom in your house. If such facilities are not available at your home, you will be required to stay in government quarantine (paid/non-paid as per your preference). The list of paid quarantine centres is attached at the end (Annexure 2). It must be noted that home quarantine shall be allowed only in urban area i.e. areas falling under Rourkela Municipal Corporation and Industrial Township. There is no provision for home quarantine in rural areas. 2.     Ministry of Health and Family Welfare National Family Health Survey - 4 2015 -16 District Fact Sheet Rayagada Odisha International Institute for Population Sciences (Deemed University) Mumbai 1 Introduction The National Family Health Survey 2015-16 (NFHS-4), the fourth in the NFHS series, provides information on population, health and nutrition for India and each State / Union territory. NFHS-4, for the first time, provides district-level estimates for many important indicators. The contents of previous rounds of NFHS are generally retained and additional components are added from one round to another. In this round, information on malaria prevention, migration in the context of HIV, abortion, violence during pregnancy etc. have been added. The scope of clinical, anthropometric, and biochemical testing (CAB) or Biomarker component has been expanded to include measurement of blood pressure and blood glucose levels. NFHS-4 sample has been designed to provide district and higher level estimates of various indicators covered in the survey. However, estimates of indicators of sexual behaviour, husband’s background and woman’s work, HIV/AIDS knowledge, attitudes and behaviour, and, domestic violence will be available at State and national level only. As in the earlier rounds, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India designated International Institute for Population Sciences, Mumbai as the nodal agency to conduct NFHS-4. The main objective of each successive round of the NFHS has been to provide essential data on health and family welfare and emerging issues in this area. NFHS-4 data will be useful in setting benchmarks and examining the progress in health sector the country has made over time.
