Once switched on, simply follow the on-screen instructions to start personalizing your OnePlus 6T. 6 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Setup Wizard Upon booting up, use Google Wizard to setup your Google account, sync, setup... The OnePlus Setup Wizard allows you to personalize your OnePlus 6T to suit your specific needs and to create a smartphone experience that is tailor-made for you.Customize all the software buttons, gestures and other features to your liking. If you later change your mind or need to make adjustments, simply adjust all of the settings after setup in the settings menu. 7 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Mirgrating Data - OnePlus Switch Do you have files you want to migrate to your new OnePlus 6T? Use the OnePlus Switch app, available in the App Store and Google Play Store, to easily and quickly transfer your files. The OnePlus 6T comes pre-installed with OnePlus Switch so all you have to do is install the app on the old device, scan the QR code when prompted, and select the items you want to transfer. OnePlus Switch is compatible with most modern smartphones, but be sure to check whether your device is listed in the Play Store. To download the OnePlus Switch app, please visit [http://onepl.us/opswitch] 8 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Insert SIM Card - SIM Card Tray This device supports only Nano SIM cards, it is recommended to use the device with the correct type of SIM card. Under Settings, go to SIM & Network settings to adjust your SIM carrier permission and restrictions. Use the SIM Tray Ejector (found in the box) to remove the SIM tray from the device. 9 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Screen Unlock One of the first things you probably do with your new phone is set up your fingerprint during Setup Wizard. If you haven’t done this yet, go to Settings, Security & lock then Fingerprint. Hidden under the display, you will find our new in-display fingerprint sensor. As soon as you touch the display, the OnePlus 6T unlocks, ensuring you have a seamless and intuitive unlock experience. Screen Unlock is swift and simple and safe. 10 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Face Unlock With Face Unlock, it takes just 0.4 seconds to unlock your phone. It’s practically instant, and easily one of the fastest facial recognition features on any Android smartphone. To set up Face Unlock, go to “Security & Lock Screen” in “Settings”, and select “Face Unlock”. Follow the instructions on your screen to complete the setup. To maximize the strength of Face Unlock, enable the double tap function in your “Settings” menu, look into the camera, and unlock it smoothly and with ease. Face Unlock will recognize you whether you’re wearing a hat, glasses or bedhead – as long as you’re awake. (So your significant other can’t snoop on your messages while you sleep.) 11 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Alert Slider The Alert Slider, which is located on the upper right edge of your phone, allows you to effortlessly toggle between 3 notification Silent profiles: Silent, Vibrate and Ring. Calls and notifications will be silenced with no vibration, except for alarms Now you don’t even have to take your OnePlus 6T out of your pocket. To customize the Alert Slider, go to “Alert Slider” in the Settings menu. Vibration Calls and notifications will be silenced, except for alarms Ring Allow sound and vibration 12 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Camera The OnePlus 6T’s rear camera uses a 16 MP main camera, supported by a 20 MP secondary camera. Using Optical Image Stabilization to give you crisp and clear photos with more stability. To help you get magical images every time, Intelligent Scene Recognition (ISR) analyzes the objects in your frame and beautifully adjusts the brightness, contrast and saturation. On the front, you’ll find a 16 MP front-facing camera, which also features portrait mode to for even more impactful selfies. 13 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Camera Interface The OnePlus 6T gives you a clear and intuitive interface with all you need to take great photos quickly and easily. For every camera mode there are a range of settings you can select from on the top settings bar. Use these settings to set the a photo timer, turn on HDR mode, pick the best aspect ratio for your shots, select depth effects and fine-tune your flash. In case you want to get close in on the action, just tap the zoom button to instantly switch to 2x optimized zoom, or manually adjust the zoom slider to zoom in up to 8x. To quickly switch between camera modes such as Video, Photo, Portrait and Night Mode, just swipe left or right. Below the camera modes you will find the shutter button in the middle, the switch button between the front and rear cameras on the left and the photo preview button on the right. 14 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Choosing Camera Modes and Settings Swipe up to reveal various shooting modes, and tap the ‘Gear’ icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen to open the advanced settings menu. Within this menu, you can enable Location data, Histogram, Grid styles and add a Shot on OnePlus Watermark. Swiping up also reveals more advanced shooting modes. Alongside returning features, such as shooting in RAW, Pro Mode, and Time-lapse, the OnePlus 6T also features a Super Slow-motion feature. Shoot your video, and manually select the length and -13 timing of the slow-motion effect. Shoot videos at up to 480fps when shooting at a resolution of 720P, and 240fps when shooting at a resolution of 1080P. 15 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Studio Lighting Studio Lighting is another great new addition to the OnePlus 6T. Now every portrait you take will look professional with automatically enable studio lighting. Advanced face detection and superior edge detection dynamically tones shadows and highlights on a subject’s face, giving you stunning portraits with a tap of the shutter. No longer do you have to slave around with heavy equipment, just aim and click for stunning pics every time. 16 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Night Mode With new Nightscape technology, the OnePlus 6T’s Night Mode allows you to capture details even after the sun has set. Night Mode gives you the opportunity to shoot beautiful images in low light conditions, capture movement with long shutter speeds and see night time photography in an exciting new way. 17 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Portrait Mode We love Portrait Mode and are constantly aiming to improve this feature. On the OnePlus 6T, both the front and rear cameras feature Portrait Mode. This allows you to capture stunning portraits from any angle. Paired with new custom background blur effects, Portrait Mode helps you take full control of your portraits while being more creative than ever. To give you a wider range of options for alternative edits, you are also able to save your original photos that don’t have the portrait effect. Portrait Mode can be accessed by swiping left in the Camera UI or tapping ‘Portrait’. 18 | What’s in the Box Device OxygenOS Video The OnePlus 6T comes equipped with a variety of video recording options, so you can always find the best mode for the task at hand. To start recording, just swipe right in the camera UI for quick access or swipe up for additional modes.
