I SUB-COMMITTEE REPORTS H&I-Tony D To the South Jersey Area Body Hospitals and Institutions Subcommittee Report for Jan 2011-We are currently serving 8 facilities and 55 commitments. All were covered for the month of Dec. We are always in need of dependable clean addicts support. All new commitments for the year will be distributed this Jan.16th See flyer for details. Thank you for allowing me to serve, Tony D.

P.I. - Peter W. Hey Family, Sometime in late February, early March the PI committee will be hosting an all-day helpline and PI workshop speaker jam. In one room we will be having workshops on PI and helpline where at that time recovering addicts will be able to join the helpline and learn more on the importance of PI and the helpline. In the second room we will be having Steps 1-12 with speakers all day making this also a speaker jam. I am hoping to get a better turn out then the last PI workshop where one person showed up. We are waiting to hear back from someone from regional helpline as well as PI. Once we hear back from them we will be able to determine the exact date of the event. Our next poster day will be in late March once the weather gets warmer. We will be providing a signup sheet for each GSR to not only bring to their home groups but also promote Pis event and try to get as many people to sign up as possible. Hopefully this sign-up sheet will bring accountability to help ensure a more successful poster day. We have written the invitational letters for each of the 68 schools in south jersey area. In the letter we ask the principle and/or the student counselors to come out and hear our presentation then we will extend the opportunity for them to have PI bring a presentation into their school for their students. Before we send our invitations out we will need to finalize our PowerPoint presentation. We will also need a projector for our presentation and our $100 monthly budget will not be enough for a good durable project. Please remember this is a one-time buy which will be used for years to come. I hope this committee keeps on going in the direction we are and hope we will be bringing presentations into schools facilities and justice systems long after my term is up. We put a motion in for our area to purchase a projector for the PI committee. Once we have a projector we will be sending out the letters. Thank you for allowing me to serve, Peter W. PI Chair & Meagan S. PI Vice Chair (856) 456-0970 [email protected]

POLICY - Wayne W. Good afternoon family. Thank you for allowing me this opportunity to serve the area as your new Area policy chair. The transfer process from Jason to myself went smoothly. I have all of our documents both electronic and paper forms. There were no policies voted in last month so the 12/10 policy manual is the most up to date version still. Thank you for allowing me to serve, Wayne W.

ACTIVITES CHAIR - Theresa T. Hello Family, Since I do not have anyone but in the activities committee here is the first official detailed activities treasurer report of 2011. I came into this commitment with a total of in the activities account. For the New Year's Eve dance, which was a total success, there was a large cushion to lean on. From this account I spent $58.20 on soda and some paper goods and then spent on other paper The total spent at was $75.14. Some of the cups and utensils were not used and can be saved for future events for this committee. Decorations for the event were purchased at Party Warehouse for $153.45. of the decorations were either not used or are stili intact and can be used next year for this annual event. The total amount spent from the activities account was $228.60, us with a total of in which $14.40 is in cash. As many of you know, I was left in the blind with all responsibility for this committee. I am not the for the activities account and the signer was difficult to a hold of. There were many other expenses that needed to be taken care of so Damian and Kim stepped up. both decided to use the account for the last few expenses for this event. The trays of catered food purchased were $256.80 #355). I was to find a OJ who would not any more than (check The church rent for this event was $150 worried about not having these extra items and was reimbursed for (check The total amount spent from the account to help this event was I am grateful for both Damien and Kim up to with the financial aspects. After all was said and done this event brought in This money is still floating in cash until the decision of where and how to it is made. I have receipts for everything that was If there are any further about the money aspect of this event, Kim will also include some of these issues in her report as well. Thank you everyone who and made this event possible. The effort and dedication was greatly appreciated and I thank you again. I we all enjoyed the holidays we addicts dread all year long. And I hope we are all blessed with a wonderful new year. Thank you for allowing me to serve, Theresa T.

Hello Family, I'd like to start off saying thank you for trusting me in this position. The first event, the New Year's Eve dance was a success. After the food and decorations were all the set up the DJ took over and the party started. With everyone and chatting out front of the church gym, the few brave soldiers shaking their stuff on the dance floor, the silly through the air and the glow sticks rolling all over, the fellowship was alive at this event. The handful of newcomers that came in to see the fun we can have clean put smiles on their faces. I believe we all had an awesome time. Thank you everyone who and made this event The effort and dedication was and I thank you again. I we all the holidays we addicts dread all year long. And I hope we are all blessed with a wonderful new year. Thank you for allowing me serve, Theresa T. (609) 828-2611
