MYLAPORE TIMES YOUR NEIGHBOURHOOD NEWSPAPER Vol. 25, No. 16 January 4 - 10, 2020 12 pages Free Circulation OFFICE : 2498 2244, 2467 1122 EDITORIAL : 2466 0269 WEBSITE : www.mylaporetimes.com A Painter’s Message for 2020 Signboard and wall painter M. Lakshman of Srinivasa- puram, a colony located near the sea off Foreshore Estate executed this work of art on the wall of his house. And he had a subtle but strong message in it - digitisation and flex banners has virtually wiped out the vocation of artists like him who painted signboards, cloth banners and on walls. But Lakshman, who has been in this line for some 25 years says he has not given up. If you need his services, call 8939651280. 2 MYLAPORE TIMES Jan 4 - 10, 2020 MYLAPORE EVENTS ONLINE.
