During third and fourth quarters, we will be offering a Chinese class taught by teachers from China provided by WKU. Expectations for students participating in this class will be extremely high. Students must be independent workers willing to go the extra mile. This class will be offered during related arts classes. Eighth graders will meet second period and seventh graders will meet third period. Students interested in taking the class will need to submit a letter of intent with an explanation of why they want to participate in the class to their school counselor by Friday, December 10. Please be sure to discuss this commitment as a family as once a student begins the class, they will not be allowed to drop the class. Please Note: Due to the limited class period offerings this year as we get started, band/choir/strings/Spanish students will be ineligible for the class. Criteria for the class are listed below: Letter submitted to school counselor explaining why you want to participate in the class signed by student and parent.
