Saranno 6 i palchi allestiti per la XVII edizione del Festival Internazionale di musica e cultura dell’America anni ’40 e ’50 , di cui 4 nel suggestivo centro storico di Senigallia ( Main Stage Foro Annonario, Kraken Stage ai Giardini della Rocca Roveresca, Red Bull Tour Bus Stage in Via Carducci, Saffi Stage in Piazza Saffi, esclusivamente dedicato ai Dj set) a cui si aggiungono mercoledì 3 agosto il palco dell’Hawaiian Party sulla spiaggia di velluto in riva al mare Adriatico, e il palco del Teatro La Fenice per la calda notte del Burlesque Show venerdì 5 agosto . 12 location , tra piazze e spazi cittadini in cui si susseguiranno gli eventi in programma dal 29 luglio al 7 agosto. Il Summer Jamboree #17 si presenta con un carnet stellare fatto di icone delle origini insieme ai leader attuali e futuri di una musica che non morirà mai. Il Rock’n’Roll. Con la loro influenza globale continuano ad ispirare ancora oggi musicisti di ogni età: Gaynel Hodge , WS "Fluke" Holland , Kid Ramos , The Bellfuries , sono i 4 Big provenienti dagli USA , protagonisti della eccezionale line up artistica della XVII edizione del Summer Jamboree , insieme ad un inedito, italianissimo Edoardo Bennato che si esibirà in una R’n’R Session (mercoledì 3 agosto _ Big Hawaiian Party) appositamente creata per il Summer Jamboree con due fra chitarristi più noti d’Europa: Giuseppe Scarpato e Gennaro Porcelli. Il SUMMER JAMBOREE, Festival Internazionale di musica e cultura dell’America anni ’40 e ’50, è organizzato dall’Associazione Culturale Summer Jamboree e promosso dal Comune di Senigallia con la partecipazione di Regione Marche e Camera di Commercio di Ancona. Presentatori della XVII edizione del Summer Jamboree la magnifica Eve La Plume , Jackson Sloan straordinario autore del brano I CAN'T TURN BACK che accompagna il trailer del Summer Jamboree 2016 che ha già registrato sulla pagina facebook del Festival oltre 788.000 visualizzazioni, Luca Grizzo e con la partecipazione amichevole di Dario Salvatori . Prima, durante e dopo tutti i concerti, oltre 250 Dj Sets diffusi per la città ed altri eventi collaterali da mattino a notte inoltrata. Il Festival ogni giorno prende avvio con Dj set in spiaggia dalle ore 12 al Mascalzone (Lungomare Alighieri) per concludersi a notte inoltrata con i Dopo Festival a pagamento alla Rotonda a Mare dove ci si potrà immergere ancora in danze sfrenate dall’una di notte fino alle 4 del mattino. Per gli amanti di notti romantiche all’insegna del ballo. Venerdì 5 agosto il Dopo Festival si sposta al Teatro La Fenice per il Burlesque . (L’ingresso alla Rotonda è di € 12 tutte le sere tranne Sabato 6 agosto € 16. Al Teatro La Fenice per il Burlesque € 16) Come da tradizione, il Rockin’ Village (Rocca Roveresca, Piazza del Duca, Via Carducci, Pizza Manni) sarà aperto tutti i pomeriggi dalle 18 all’una di notte (nei due venerdì alle 2, mentre nei due sabato alle 3) con il grande MERCATINO VINTAGE ‘40/’50 di modernariato e memorabilia (con oltre 70 espositori), parrucchieria old style, corsi di ballo gratuiti dalle ore 18 alla Rocca, Barber Shop per perfette acconciature d’epoca, aree Food & Beverage Cajun, Tex Mex Diner, Rockin’ Pizza, e tantissime altre proposte. In Piazza Simoncelli sempre dalle 18 sarà attivo il Car Park che accoglierà le auto americane pre 1969, Quello di quest’anno sarà un Summer Jamboree sempre più percorso e attraversato dal ballo. A partire dal DANCE SHOW all’interno della serata di domenica 31 luglio sul Main Stage al Foro Annonario all’interno della Moondogs Rhythm'n'Blues Revue . 5 artisti internazionali appartenenti al gotha internazionale del ballo Vincenzo Fesi ITA, Katia Zavrsnik SLO, Peter Loggins USA, Moe Sakan J e Remy Kouakou FRA , metteranno in scena uno spettacolo capace di scollare chiunque da terra, in grado di far desiderare di volare ancora più in alto anche chi ha le vertigini. Una vera ispirazione artistica legata ai balli dell’epoca di grande respiro ed eleganza. I 5 ballerini professionisti protagonisti del dance Show sono anche sono anche i prestigiosi insegnati del Dance Camp 2016 insieme a Markus Rosendal SVE, LizetteRonnovist SVE, Sauro Dall’olio ITA e Mila Benghi ITA . Alcuni tra i migliori insegnanti al mondo di Lindy Hop, Boogie Woogie, Balboa e Solo Jazz per un evento di grido che renderà al ballo e alla musica della Hottest Rockin' Holiday on Earth, tutta la sua potenza. Il Summer Jamboree Dance Camp si terrà a Senigallia il 30, il 31 luglio e il 1 agosto alla Rotonda a mare, nella sala foyer del Teatro La Fenice e nella Palestra della Scuola Pascoli. Tre i livelli Level 1: Beginner, Level 2: Intermediate, Level 3: Advanced, con la possibilità di prenotare 1 giorno, 2 giorni o l’intero Dance Camp. www.summerjamboree.com/dance-camp Oltre a questi ci saranno come sempre i corsi gratuiti di balli dell’epoca nel pomeriggio, alla Rocca Roveresca dalle 18 alle 19 . Mentre venerdì 5 Agosto Piazza Saffi (che quest’anno verrà allestita con una nuovissima pista da ballo) ospiterà una gara/battaglia di ballo a squadre , con libertà di scegliere tra le seguenti specialità ammesse: Boogie Woogie, Lindy Hop, Balboa, Jive, Charleston, Shag, Tip Tap. Ad aprire la XVII edizione del Summer Jamboree sarà subito il grande GAYNEL HODGE USA che si esibirà Sabato 30 Luglio sul Main Stage del Foro Annonario . Classe ‘37, è il memorabile autore del disco di platino " Earth Angel ". Al Summer Jamboree sarà accompagnato sul palco da due grandi band. Velvet Candles in arrivo appositamente dalla Spagna per affiancarlo insieme a The Good Fellas, fantastica house band del Festival Internazionale “made in Senigallia”. Gaynel Hodge è stato uno dei fondatori dei The Turks, The Hollywood Flames e The Platters, in cui ha cantato e suonato il piano. Attraverso la collaborazione con i grandi musicisti americani, ha attraversato la storia della musica, non solo del Rock’n’Roll. Fu uno dei musicisti più ambiti in tutti gli studi di Los Angeles. E’ stato il pianista preferito per le registrazioni di artisti del calibro di Lou Rawls, Aretha Franklin, Stevie Wonder, Johnny 'Guitar' Watson, Dr. John, Ted Taylor, Little Johnny Taylor, Richard Berry, Dick Dale, Don & Dewey, The Chambers Brothers , Tony Allen, Duane Eddy. 2 GRANDI CLASSICI EVENTI NELL’EVENTO: BIG HAWAIIAN PARTY mercoledì 3 agosto e BURLESQUE SHOW venerdì 5 agosto Mercoledì 3 agosto BIG HAWAIIAN PARTY Al Summer Jamboree 2016 l’inimitabile BIG HAWAIIAN PARTY sbarcherà sulla Spiaggia di Velluto di Senigallia, Mercoledì 3 agosto. Dall’ora di pranzo fino all’alba successiva! Edoardo Bennato in una R’n’R Session appositamente creata per il Summer Jamboree, The Jolly Rockers’ & Max Paiella, Steve Mai Tai and The Good Vibes, The Uppertones saranno gli straordinari protagonisti che si esibiranno sul celebre palco allestito in riva al mare Adriatico. La Festa Hawaiiana inizierà già all’ora di pranzo con i DJ set Lido e a Bordo Piscina Acquapazza ed una gara di biglie sulla spiaggia libera. Ingresso gratuito . Edoardo Bennato è un artista splendidamente atipico, come l’Hawaiian Party ha un carattere originale all’interno del Summer Jamboree. La fantastica festa in spiaggia che si tiene al confine fra il mare, il cielo e la terra sarà il terreno aperto alla Rock’n’Roll Session di Bennato, che da sempre ha occupato il confine, molto impegnativo, fra rock e cantautorato.
