However we were concerned that some of its proposals 13 Potters Bar Furzefield would require the creation of two small parish wards. Therefore 14 Potters Bar Oakmere we have not been persuaded to adopt these. We are however 15 Potters Bar Parkfield adopting a small amendment between Borehamwood Hillside 16 Shenley and Borehamwood Kenilworth wards. In Potters Bar, in response to the draft recommendations, the Council proposed significant amendments. The Commission was persuaded by these, but given the amount of change it decided to hold a period of limited further consultation. In response to this, we propose one minor amendment to strengthen the boundary of the Potters Bar Oakmere ward. Our final recommendations propose that Hertsmere’s 39 councillors should represent nine two-councillor wards and seven three-councillor wards across the borough. An outline of the proposals is shown in the map to the right. A detailed report on the recommendations and interactive mapping is available on our website at: www.lgbce.org.uk.
