Linda Phillips Palo

Linda Phillips Palo C.S.A. (MA) is a casting director who won the Artios, the highest casting honor for her work casting Sophia Coppola’s The Virgin (, Kathleen Turner, , Josh Hartnett). She has also worked as the casting director for on his films (, Danny DeVito, ) and Jack (, Diane Lane, Jennifer Lopez, , Fran Drescher), as well as for on (Brian Benben, Ned Beatty, , ) Phil Joanou on Heaven’s Prisoners (, Teri Hatcher, Kelly Lynch), Dwight Yoakam on South of Heaven West of Hell (Vince Vaugn, Billy Bob Thorton, Bridget Fonda, Peter Fonda) and Eduardo Sánchez on Seventh Moon (Amy Smart). Some of her other films include The Secret Garden, Wind, Jeepers Creepers II, and The Young Black Stallion for IMAX/Disney. in addition Linda and her partner Paul have cast over 15 short films with USC, UCLA and AFI winning numerous awards. Paul Palo has joined wife Linda for the past few years as a partner working on several edgy independent films. Most recently as Associate producers and casting directors on Happiness Runs, bringing back for his second film with the Phillips Palo team. Paul has an extensive production background and was nominated for an Emmy for Aids the Global Explosion as well as four Telly awards for his documentary work In , South Africa and domestically. Paul was also received a nomination for an Emmy for documentary work on "Aids".

Linda and Paul are proud to work with the talented directors and producers from USC,UCLA and AFI in over 15 films in the last year alone. Many of these shorts have won numerous awards in film festivals.
