1. Place of the Meeting

The Second Meeting of North American, Central American and Caribbean Directors of Civil Aviation (NAC/DCA/2), will be held in Tegucigalpa, Honduras at the Viena Room of the Hotel Clarion from 11 to 14 October 2005.

3. Registration of Participants

Registration of participants will take place on 11 October from 08:30 to 09:30 hrs in the Viena Room of the Hotel Clarión. For identification purposes, participants are also requested to wear the identification badge, which will be issued to them during registration.

4. Opening of the Meeting

The opening session will take place on 11 October at 09:30 hrs in the Viena Room of the Hotel Clarión

5. Weather

The average temperature in Tegucigalpa for August varies from: 24°C (75°F) to 26°C (79°F), with an average humidity of 67%. NACC/DCA/2-IP/01 -2-

6. Money Exchange

The national currency in Honduras is the Lempira. Currently the exchange rate is L18.86 per USD $1.00. It is advisable to exchange money in different Banks or in the designated Hotel from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

7. Credit Cards

International credit cards such as American Express, Master Cards, VISA, Diners Club, etc., are usually accepted at major hotels, department stores and restaurants.

14. Airport Tax

The Airport Tax Departure is L20.00 equivalent to US$ 1.10 for national flights and USD$30.00 for international flights. This could be paid in Lempiras at the official exchange rate.

16. Others

Tax on all purchases is included in all prices. (12% for purchases and food and 15% for alcoholic drinks). Tips in restaurants is 10% of the total and is included in the bill.

Tegucigalpa has a good taxi service. Tip is US$ 4.00 of the total amount.

A recommended tourist place is Valle de Angeles, 25 kilometres from the city.
